To operate the ELDOM ACERO CS30:

1. Place the kettle base on a flat and dry surface. The base has space for any excess cord; ensure the cord is led through the special groove for stability.

2. Before first use, fill the kettle with water, boil it, and then empty it. Repeat this process 2-3 times.

3. The kettle can be filled directly through the spout or after opening the lid using the lid release button. The kettle must not be filled while it is on the base.

4. The highest (max) and lowest (min) water levels are indicated inside the kettle.

5. The kettle starts working after pressing the on/off switch.

6. The control lamp will light up to signal that the kettle is working.

7. The kettle will switch off automatically after the water has boiled.

For cleaning and maintenance of your ELDOM ACERO CS30:

• Allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning.

• Do not immerse the kettle in water while washing.

• The outside of the kettle can be wiped with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid.

• Water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moistened with white vinegar; rinse the inside with water afterwards.

To remove limescale from the ELDOM ACERO CS30, follow these steps:

1. Fill the kettle with 0.75 litre of water and bring it to a boil.

2. Switch the kettle off and disconnect it from the power supply.

3. Pour 0.1 litre of vinegar into the kettle and leave the solution for a few hours.

4. Discard the solution and rinse the inside with water.

5. Fill the kettle with 1 litre of water and bring it to a boil.

6. Discard the water and rinse the inside with water again.

The filter in the ELDOM ACERO CS30 does not remove scale from the water. Its purpose is to prevent any scale deposits from getting into your cup when the water is being poured. The filter should be cleaned regularly, as hard water may block it after several uses.
