What is Fat% and how does the scale measure it?

About Fat%

Fat% is an index percentage of fat content in the human body. An overabundance of fat in the human body can bring bad effects on metabolism, and various illnesses may invade.

Working Principles

The scale uses biological resistance analysis. An electrical signal of a certain frequency transmits through the human body. The impedance of fat is stronger than that of muscle or other human tissues. The product will pass a safe frequency of low voltage electrical current through the human body. The Fat% will be reflected according to the resistance differences when the electrical signal is transmitted through the human body.

How do I interpret my Fat% and Hydration% results?

After your weighing, you can use the following Assessment Chart for reference. Note: This information is for reference only. Please consult your physician for any question and concern.

What does the calorie reading on the scale indicate?

The calorie data reading indicates the energy you need to sustain the daily metabolism and ordinary activities required for your weight, height, age, and sex. Control the calorie intake combined with proper exercise is an effective way to lose weight. As the daily energy intake cannot support the energy consumption of the human body, the saccharide and fat stored inside will decompose and provide energy to the human body, which leads to weight loss.
