When using the DIMPLEX MINICUBE MCF15, basic safety precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. These include:
• Do not use if there are visible signs of damage. Check immediately with the supplier before installation and operation.
• Do not use this appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower, or swimming pool.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by Children.
• The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
• Use this appliance on a horizontal and stable surface, or fix it to the wall, as applicable. Although this heater complies with safety standards, its use on deep pile carpets or on long hair type rugs is not recommended.

Unpack the heater carefully and retain the packaging for possible future use. The DIMPLEX MINICUBE MCF15 is designed to be free-standing and is normally positioned against a wall.
Before connecting the heater, check that the supply voltage is the same as that stated on the heater. This heater must be used on an AC ~ supply only and must be earthed.
Please note: When used in an environment with very low background noise, it may be possible to hear a sound related to the operation of the flame effect. This is normal and should not be a cause for concern.
How do I operate the controls and heat settings on the DIMPLEX MINICUBE MCF15?
The DIMPLEX MINICUBE MCF15 has three switches that provide a choice of heat settings. A switch is in the ON position when the side with the markings (I or II) is pushed in.
Switch 1 (marked with a circle ‘O’ and line ‘I’): Controls the electricity supply to the heater and the flame effect. This switch must be in the ON (I) position for the heater to operate with or without heat.
Switch 2 (marked with a line ‘I’): Provides 750W heat output (at 230V).
Switch 3 (marked with two lines ‘II’): Provides 1500W heat output (at 230V) when switch 2 is also in the ON position.
What is the thermal safety cut-out on the DIMPLEX MINICUBE MCF15 and what should I do if it activates?
The DIMPLEX MINICUBE MCF15 has a built-in overheat cut-out that switches off the appliance automatically in the event of a fault, such as overheating.
If the cut-out activates:
1. Switch off the appliance or disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down for a short period.
3. After the cooling down phase, the appliance is ready for use again.

How do I clean my DIMPLEX MINICUBE MCF15?
WARNING – ALWAYS DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING THE HEATER.
• For general cleaning, use a soft clean duster. Never use abrasive cleaners.
• The glass viewing screen should be cleaned carefully with a soft cloth. DO NOT use proprietary glass cleaners.
• To remove any accumulation of dust or fluff, the soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner should occasionally be used to clean the outlet grille of the fan heater.
