Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the DENVER CCT-1230 for the first time and keep the instructions for future reference.

1. Warning: This product includes a lithium polymer battery.

2. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.

3. The product operating temperature is from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius and the storage temperature is from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Temperatures under and over this might affect the function.

4. Never open the product. Touching the inside electrics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.

5. Do not expose to heat, water, moisture, or direct sunlight!

6. The unit is not waterproof.

7. If water or foreign objects enter the unit, it may result in fire or electric shock. If water or a foreign object enters the unit, stop use immediately.

8. Only use with the supplied 12V car adapter.

9. Do not use non-original accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.

The battery in the DENVER CCT-1230 is only there to make sure the recordings are saved correctly. It is not designed to work on battery only, as the capacity is small.

To charge the DENVER CCT-1230, connect the camera to the car charger via the USB port.

If the camera is connected to the car charger, it will automatically turn on with the car.

If not connected in the car, follow these steps:

To turn on: Long press the OK/Power button.

To turn off: Long press the OK/Power button again.

If the camera is connected to a car charger, it will start video recording automatically and stop when you turn off the car.

If the camera is not connected to a car charger, after turning on the camera, press the OK/Power button to start video recording. Then press the OK/Power button again to stop video recording.

After turning on the camera, short press the Mode button to switch to photo mode. Then, short press the OK/Power button to take a photo.

After turning on the camera, short press the Mode button to switch to playback mode. Then, short press the OK/Power button to playback the recorded video.

In video mode, short press the Menu button to set up video specifications. Then, short press the Menu button again to enter the second menu page.

After turning on the camera, short press the Mode button to switch to photo mode. Then, short press the Menu button to set up photo specifications.

Check if the TF card has enough free space or if it is locked.

This may indicate uncompleted files because of an SD card storage error. Please format your SD card.

Scenes with big contrast will influence the automatic exposure function of the camera. You can adjust the “EV” in the setting mode to correct this.

Set the “white balance” function to automatic.

This is caused by the wrong “light frequency” setting. Please set it to 50Hz or 60Hz according to the local power supply frequency.

Restart the camera by using the “RESET” function.

Electric and electronic equipment and included batteries contain materials, components, and substances that can be hazardous to your health and the environment if the waste material is not handled correctly. They are marked with the crossed-out trash can symbol.

This symbol signifies that electric and electronic equipment and batteries should not be disposed of with other household waste but should be disposed of separately.

As the end user, it is important that you submit your used batteries to the appropriate and designated facility. In this manner, you make sure that the batteries are recycled in accordance with legislature and will not harm the environment.

All cities have established collection points, where electric and electronic equipment and batteries can either be submitted free of charge at recycling stations and other collection sites or be collected from households. Additional information is available at the technical department of your city.
