What are the safety instructions for this device?

Switch main power off before connecting or disconnecting the device. Risk of explosion!

If the device is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.

To guarantee sufficient convection cooling, please refer to the instructions for sufficient clearance around the device.

The external enclosure where the device will be installed shall meet the requirements for mechanical, electrical and fire protection.

Note that the enclosure of the device can become very hot depending on the ambient temperature and the load of the power supply. Risk of burns!

CAUTION: Hot surface

Always switch main power off before connecting or disconnecting a wire terminal!

Do not introduce any objects into the unit!

Dangerous voltage remains for at least 5 minutes after disconnecting all sources of power.

The power supplies are built-in units and must be installed in a cabinet or room (enclosed location and without condensation) that is relatively free of conductive contaminants.

Label must be wiped with a dry cloth for cleaning the labeling.

CAUTION: “FOR USE IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT”.

What are the components of the device?

(1) Input terminal block connector

(2) Output terminal block connector

(3) DC voltage adjustment potentiometer

(4) DC OK LED (green)

(5) QR code for product link

(6) Universal mounting rail system

How do I mount and dismount the device?

The power supply can be mounted on 35mm DIN rails in accordance with DIN EN 60715. For vertical Mounting, the device should be installed with input terminal block on the bottom.

Each device is delivered ready to install. Snap on the DIN rail as shown:

1. Pull down the latch of the device.

2. Tilt the unit slightly upwards, hook the top end onto the DIN rail and push downwards until it touches the bottom part of the rail.

3. Push firmly against the rail until it clicks on.

4. Push the latch back into the rail to lock the unit in position.

5. To dismount, pull down the latch on the unit. Tilt the unit slightly upwards and pull out the bottom part of the unit out. Push the unit up and pull out the entire unit from the DIN rail.

What are the connection specifications?

The terminal block connectors allow easy and fast wiring.

You can use flexible (stranded wire) or solid cables with the following cross sections:

Refer to Fig. 1: Color Flexible / Solid Torque Stripping length
(mm²) (AWG) (Kgf.cm) (lbf.in) (mm)
(1) Black (Anytek VI) 0.21 – 3.3 24 – 12 4.0 3.5 6 – 7
(2) Black (Anytek VI) 0.52 – 3.3 20 – 12 4.0 3.5 6 – 7

Please ensure that wires are fully inserted into the connecting terminals.

In accordance to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 and IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-2-201, flexible cables require a ferrule. Use 300V, 105°C copper cables or better to meet the UL requirements.

How do I connect the input?

Use L, N and PE connections on the input terminal connector to establish the 100-240Vac connection.

The device has an internal fuse. The unit is tested and approved with branch circuit protection device up to 20A.

The internal fuse must not be replaced by the user. Return the unit for inspection to the manufacturer.

How do I connect the output?

Use the “+” and “-” screw connections to establish the 12Vdc, 24Vdc or 48Vdc connection. The green DC OK LED shows the proper operation of the output.

Overvoltage protection < 18Vdc < 36Vdc < 68Vdc
Overload protection Yes
Short-circuit protection Yes

What is the output characteristic of the device?

The device functions normal under operating line and load conditions. In the event of an overload (I > 105-150%), the output voltage will start to droop and hiccup until the non-load has been removed. If loads are in short circuit, the secondary voltage will droop and hiccup until the short circuit has been removed.

What is the thermal behavior of the device?

If the output capacity is exceeded, the device will go into thermal protection by switching off, i.e. the output voltage will go into latch-off mode until the component temperature cools down and the power AC is recycled.
