To ensure proper setup of your CYBERPOWER CP1000D, follow these installation guidelines:

1. Recharge the batteries for at least 16 hours before use to ensure maximum charge capacity. You can do this by simply plugging the unit into an AC outlet; it will charge whether the power switch is in the ON or OFF position.

Turn the UPS off and unplug at least one piece of equipment. Wait 10 seconds, reset the circuit breaker by depressing the button, and then turn the UPS back on.
