The COOKWORKS FP9076-GS should only be plugged into a 220V-240V AC, 50Hz supply. Connecting it to other power sources may damage the appliance and will invalidate the guarantee.

Switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning or changing accessories.

This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Keep the motor housing, cable, and plug dry and away from areas where it is likely to get splashed. Never immerse these parts in water.

Do not cover or block the ventilation holes.

Do not pull on the cable to disconnect from the mains supply.

In the event the supply cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by a qualified service engineer with a suitably approved part.

The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible and the socket is within easy reach of the power cord.

The COOKWORKS FP9076-GS is intended exclusively for domestic household use and is not suitable for commercial use.

Always unplug the motor housing if left unattended and before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.

Only use the appliance with the parts supplied and ensure it is fully assembled.

Allow the motor housing to cool fully before storing and do not cover the processor during use.

Never use hot liquids in the processor; always allow liquids to cool to room temperature before blending.

The blades are extremely sharp. Take care when emptying the bowl, fitting or removing blades, and during cleaning.

Do not fill the processor bowl above the maximum level marked.

Never place hands or utensils inside the bowl while it is in use. Only use a scraper or spatula when the processor is not in operation.

Do not attempt to operate the appliance without the lid correctly in place.

Keep raw meat and poultry separate from cooked foods.

Always wash your hands after handling raw meat and poultry before handling any ready to eat foods.

Wipe and disinfect all surfaces that have been in contact with raw meat and poultry.

Use separate utensils for handling raw meat or poultry and cooked food, or wash them thoroughly between use.

Important Safety Feature: This food processor will not operate unless both the lid and the processor bowl are correctly fitted.

Step 1. Clean all parts thoroughly before first use and place the motor housing on a stable, flat surface.

Step 2. Position the processor bowl onto the motor housing. Align the downward arrow symbol on the base of the bowl with the unlocked padlock symbol on the top of the motor housing.

Step 3. Twist the bowl to align the arrow with the locked padlock symbol. If the bowl is not correctly locked, the processor will not work.

Step 4. Fit the blade support onto the drive shaft in the center of the bowl.

General Purpose Blade: Fit this over the blade support so it rests close to the bottom of the bowl.

Slicing, Shredding, or Julienne Blades: First, fit the chosen blade into the blade holder. To do this, align the blade with the cutting edge uppermost. Tilt the blade and hook the clip under the edge of the holder, then press downwards on the other edge to engage it fully.

Fitting the Holder: Using the finger holes, fit the blade holder onto the blade support. The holder will sit near the top of the bowl.

Align the lugs on the rim of the bowl with the grooves on the underside of the lid. Fit the lid onto the bowl and twist it clockwise to lock it into position.

When correctly fitted, the protruding section of the lid covers the bowl handle. The processor will not work if the lid is not correctly locked.

If you need to add ingredients during operation, use the feed tube and the pusher as necessary.

Setting 1: Provides a slower mix for softer mixtures or ingredients.

Setting 2: Provides a faster mix for harder mixtures or ingredients.

Pulse (P): Turn and hold the switch to the ‘P’ position for short intervals. The processor will operate at full speed and stop when the switch is released.

Maximum Work Time: Use the appliance for a maximum of 90 seconds at a time.

Rest Periods: If further mixing is required after 90 seconds, wait 2 minutes before restarting. If the unit is used for 3 consecutive cycles, wait 30 minutes before the next use.

Stopping: To stop or interrupt operation, turn the speed control switch to the off (0) position or turn it off at the mains.

The general purpose blade is used for chopping meats, bread, and vegetables, making pastry, mixing cakes, and blending heavier liquids.

Before processing, cut food such as meat, bread, and vegetables into 2cm cubes. For pastry, cut chilled fats into 2cm cubes.

Ingredients can be added to the bowl before fitting the lid when using this blade.

Note: This blade is not suitable for crushing or grinding coffee beans or converting granulated sugar to icing sugar.

These blades are used for grating, slicing, or shredding hard cheese and firm vegetables like carrots, potatoes, beetroot, and onions.

Step 1. Fit the desired blade into the blade holder and assemble the processor. Do not add ingredients into the bowl yet.

Step 2. Cut ingredients to a size that will fit down the feed tube. Remove any peel or stones.

Step 3. Switch the processor on (usually speed 2) and feed the ingredients down the feed tube onto the cutting blade.

Step 4. Use the pusher to maintain contact with the spinning disc and apply even pressure.

Clean the food processor after every use. Do not clean any part of this appliance in a dishwasher.

Step 1. Switch off and unplug the appliance.

Step 2. Remove the lid and separate the bowl from the motor housing.

Step 3. Lift the blade holder off the support using the finger holes. To remove individual blades from the holder, turn the holder over and press the clip in the direction shown on the reverse to release the blade.

Step 4. Lift out the blade support and remove the general purpose blade if it was fitted.

Step 5. Wash all loose parts in hot water with a small amount of washing up liquid. Rinse and wipe dry.

Step 6. Wipe the outside of the motor housing with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasives as they may scratch the surface. Never immerse the motor housing, cable, or plug in water.

The wires in the mains lead are colored according to the UK electrical code: BLUE is NEUTRAL and BROWN is LIVE.

The BLUE wire must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter N.

The BROWN wire must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter L.

If the appliance is fitted with a non-rewireable plug and the fuse needs changing, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover is lost or damaged, the appliance must not be used. Rewireable plugs should only be replaced by a competent person.
