What is the RUGH-M undervoltage relay used for?
The RUGH-M undervoltage relay is designed for DC networks to switch in the case of undervoltage with a user-adjustable time delay. It does not require an auxiliary supply voltage.
How does the RUGH-M undervoltage relay operate?
Under normal operating conditions, the green LED on the front panel indicates the status, and contacts 4-6 and 10-12 are closed.
In case of undervoltage, the red LED lights up, and the delay time circuit starts. If the undervoltage condition persists at the end of the delay time, the output relay trips, and contacts 2-4 and 8-10 become closed.
In case of a total DC voltage failure, the relay switches immediately.
When returning to normal conditions, an adjustable hysteresis of 2-20% is taken into account to change the output relay and LED state.

What are the physical characteristics and general safety standards of the RUGH-M relay?
The RUGH-M relay conforms to Safety Standard EN60255-6 10.95.
It can operate in any position.
The protection degree is IP40.
The case material is Polycarbonat, UL 94 V-0, which is self-extinguishing.
The weight of the relay is 0.3 kg.
The RUGH-M relay is enclosed in a plastic case that fits into a special 14 pin plug-in socket. The socket (type U or K) provides 14 screw terminals of 2 x 4 mm². A 35 mm DIN rail adapter is available for socket K.
How should the RUGH-M relay be installed?
To ensure specified EMC features, keep a minimum distance of 1.5 cm to other equipment or metallic parts.
How do I lock and unlock the RUGH-M relay case on its socket?
To lock the case on the socket, use the two clamping devices (metal spring clips with two notches). Push down the spring clips with a screwdriver positioned in the notches near the outside of the case.
To unlock the case, push down the spring clips using the notches near the inside of the case.
