Carefully unpack the CENTOLIGHT 1818WP immediately and check the contents to make sure all parts are in the package and in good condition.

If the box or the contents appear damaged from shipping or show signs of mishandling, notify the carrier or dealer/seller immediately. In addition, keep the box and contents for inspection.

If the fixture must be returned, it is important that it is returned in the original manufacturer box and packing. Do not take any action without first contacting your dealer or after-sales support service.

The symbols on the CENTOLIGHT 1818WP have the following meanings:

• Lightning bolt in a triangle: This symbol indicates that some hazardous live terminals are involved within this apparatus, even under normal operating conditions, which may be sufficient to constitute the risk of electric shock or death.

• Exclamation mark in a triangle: This symbol is used to describe important installation or configuration problems. Not following the advice and information on how to avoid such problems may lead to product malfunction.

Pay attention to safety! Please consider the EN 60598-2-17 and national standards during installation. Only authorized technicians can carry out the installation.

• The installation of the fixture must be built and constructed to hold 10 times its weight for 1 hour without any demolition. It must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment, such as an appropriate catch net.

• When rigging, de-rigging, or servicing the fixture, it is forbidden to be in the area below the installation place, on bridges, under high working places, and other endangered areas.

• The operator must ensure that the safety measures and the machine’s technical installation are approved by an expert before first use and after any changes. An expert must also approve the safety measures and technical installation once a year.

• IMPORTANT: Overhead rigging requires extensive experience, including calculating working load limits, using appropriate installation material, and performing periodic safety inspections. If you lack these qualifications, do not attempt the installation yourself; use a professional structural rigger.

• If the fixture is to be lowered from the ceiling or high joists, professional trussing systems must be used. The fixture must never be fixed swinging freely in the room.

• CAUTION: Use appropriate clamps to rig the fixture on the truss. Ensure the device is fixed properly and that the structure (truss) is secure.

• Do not use in a confined space. Always install the CENTOLIGHT 1818WP in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20in (50 cm) from adjacent surfaces.

• The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other appliances that produce heat.

• Do not use it when the maximum ambient temperature is higher than 50°C. The work temperature ranges from -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F).

The rear panel of the CENTOLIGHT 1818WP includes:

1. Power Input Socket: Plug the power cord into a properly configured AC socket for this fixture.

2. Power Output Socket: An output power connector used for cascade connection of up to a maximum of 10 fixtures.

3. DMX Input: Male 3-pin XLR socket for connection to a DMX control device.

4. DMX Output: Female 3-pin XLR socket for sending the DMX control signal to other units.

5. 4 Digit LED Display & Control Buttons: Shows the operating mode and allows the user to set up the unit.

1. MENU Button: Short-press to switch between setting pages.

2. UP Button: Scrolls up through items in the selection menu and sub-menus. It also increases parameter values/settings.

3. DOWN Button: Scrolls down through items in the selection menu and sub-menus. It also decreases parameter values/settings.

4. ENTER Button: Press to access menu levels and confirm parameter value changes.

• Always ensure the voltage of the outlet you are connecting the product to is within the range of AC100V-240V 50/60Hz.

• Make sure the power cord is not crimped or damaged. Never connect this product to a dimmer pack or rheostat.

• Never disconnect the product from the power cord by pulling or tugging on it.

• To avoid electric shock, all fixtures must be connected to circuits with a suitable ground and circuit breaker.

The earth must be connected. Before taking into operation for the first time, the installation must be approved by an expert.

When using a DMX controller, ensure there are no interference sources like intercoms, high-frequency radio waves, and radiation sources.

DMX fixtures are designed to receive data through a serial Daisy Chain. A Daisy Chain connection is where the DATA OUT of one fixture connects to the DATA IN of the next fixture. The order of connection is not important and has no effect on how the controller communicates with each fixture. Use an order that provides for the easiest and most direct cabling.

Connect fixtures using a shielded 2-conductor twisted pair cable with 3-pin XLR male to female connectors. The shield connection is pin 1, pin 2 is Data Negative (S-), and pin 3 is Data positive (S+).

CAUTION: Wires must not come into contact with each other; otherwise, the fixtures will not work at all, or will not work properly.

For long signal cable runs, it is a good habit to connect a DMX terminator to the DMX output of the last fixture in the chain. A DMX terminator is an XLR connector with a 120Ω, 1/4 Watt resistor connected across pins 2 and 3.

A complimentary signal cable can transmit signals to a maximum of 20 unit fixtures. A signal amplifier is required to connect more fixtures.

By pressing the MENU button on the CENTOLIGHT 1818WP, the display will show the main function menu. The options are as follows:

The CENTOLIGHT 1818WP has several working modes:

• Auto mode: Built-in programs (Color Jump, Color Fade, Strobe).

• Sound mode: 3 built-in Sound modes.

• Master/Slave mode: When active, the unit controls other PARs connected via DMX cables. You can use various settings like CL01, CC01, EE01, FF01, ST01, SOU1-3, and R255-P255 for different effects. The controlled units must be set to Slave mode (A001/d001/H001).

• DMX512 mode: Allows for DMX512 control via a controller.
