You can use the number buttons and the [-] and [+] keys on your CASIO CTK-1500 to change displayed numbers and settings.
Number Buttons:
Use the number buttons to enter numbers and values. You should enter the same number of digits as the currently displayed value. For example, to enter tone number 004, you would input 0 → 0 → 4.
[-] and [+] Keys:
Use the [+] (increase) and [-] (decrease) keys to change the displayed number or value.
Holding down either key will scroll through the settings.
Pressing both keys at the same time will revert to the initial default setting or the recommended setting.
Negative values cannot be input using the number buttons. Use the [-] key instead.

How do I set up the power supply for my CASIO CTK-1500?
Your CASIO CTK-1500 can be powered by either an AC adaptor or batteries. Use of an AC adaptor is normally recommended.
Using the AC Adaptor:
1. Make sure you are using only the specified AC adaptor (AD-E95100L) for this Digital Keyboard. Using a different type can cause a malfunction.
2. Before connecting, ensure the Digital Keyboard power is off.
3. Connect the AC adaptor to the DC 9.5V terminal on the back of the keyboard and plug the other end into a household power outlet.
Important: The AC adaptor may become warm during use; this is normal. Avoid putting any load on the power cord, such as bending or winding it tightly, to prevent damage.
Using Batteries:
1. Ensure the power is turned off before loading batteries.
2. Prepare six commercially available AA-size batteries. Do not use oxyride or any other nickel-based batteries.
3. Open the battery cover on the bottom of the Digital Keyboard.
4. Load the six AA-size batteries, making sure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are facing correctly as shown in the illustration inside the compartment.
5. Insert the tabs of the battery cover into the holes and close the cover.
A flashing low battery indicator on the screen means the batteries are weak and should be replaced with new ones.
