Use the provided cutting template. Place the template against the wall surface in the desired location, ensuring it is level and correctly oriented between wall studs if necessary. Trace the inside edge of the template to mark the area to be cut out.

The required cutout dimensions are 331mm (13 inches) in height and 187mm (7.4 inches) in width.

1. Position the back box between the wall studs at the desired location, ensuring correct orientation (indicated by markings like an up arrow).

2. Secure the back box to the studs using appropriate screws or fasteners through the designated mounting points on the sides of the back box.

3. Engage any locking mechanisms if provided (e.g., pressing levers) to firmly fix the box to the studs.

1. After cutting the required hole (331mm x 187mm), ensure the speaker wire is accessible through the opening.

2. Check the orientation markings on the back box (e.g., up arrow).

3. Carefully rotate and insert the back box into the cutout.

4. Once the back box flange is flush with the wall surface, locate the locking levers/clamps (often red).

5. Push or rotate these levers to engage the clamps, which will swing out and grip the inside surface of the wall, securing the back box in place.

1. Attach the optional spacer frame to the back of the back box using the provided screws.

2. After cutting the required hole (331mm x 187mm), ensure the speaker wire is accessible.

3. Check the orientation markings on the back box.

4. Insert the back box with the attached spacer into the cutout until the flange is flush with the wall.

5. Secure the assembly using screws through the designated holes in the spacer/back box flange into the surrounding wall material or studs if possible. Locking clamps may not be used in this specific configuration; screws provide the fixation.

1. Route the speaker wire from your amplifier to the back box location, passing it through the designated cable entry point on the back box.

2. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the back box connector.

3. Strip a small amount of insulation from the ends of your speaker wires.

4. Press down on the lever corresponding to the positive (+) terminal, insert the positive wire, and release the lever to secure it.

5. Repeat the process for the negative (-) wire and terminal.

6. Ensure the polarity (+/-) matches the connections at your amplifier.

7. Use the provided cable ties to secure the wire within the back box if needed.

1. Ensure the speaker wire is connected inside the back box.

2. Note the correct orientation of the speaker baffle (often indicated by branding or specific features like alignment tabs/arrows).

3. Tilt the baffle slightly and insert it into the opening of the installed back box.

4. Align the baffle correctly within the back box frame. Ensure any alignment tabs or guides are properly seated.

5. Push the baffle gently until it sits flush within the back box frame.

6. Locate the temporary locking tabs (often red) on the sides of the baffle mechanism.

7. Push these tabs outwards slightly to temporarily hold the baffle in place before final fixing.

1. After inserting the baffle and engaging the temporary locking tabs, locate the main locking mechanisms (often red levers/tabs).

2. Push these main locking tabs firmly outwards until they click or lock securely into position. This engages the mechanism that fixes the baffle assembly tightly within the back box.

3. Proceed to the final screw attachment step.

1. Ensure the baffle is correctly oriented and the main locking tabs are fully engaged (Step 6).

2. Locate the three screw holes on the front face of the speaker baffle frame.

3. Insert the three provided screws into these holes.

4. Tighten the screws firmly using an appropriate screwdriver. The screws engage with the back box, providing the final secure fixing. There might be an audible click or a specific feel when the screws are properly tightened.

You can adjust the tweeter’s high-frequency output using the provided cylindrical foam plug:

– **No Plug:** Standard tweeter response.

– **Plug Partially Inserted:** Slightly reduced high-frequency output. Gently push the foam plug partway into the center opening of the tweeter.

– **Plug Fully Inserted:** Maximum reduction in high-frequency output. Push the foam plug fully into the center opening of the tweeter.

Experiment to find the setting that sounds best in your room environment.

1. Before installing the grille onto the speaker, use the supplied paint mask.

2. Attach the paint mask magnetically to the front of the speaker baffle assembly already installed in the wall. This protects the speaker drivers while you paint the surrounding wall or the grille separately.

3. To paint the grille: Place the grille on a protected surface. Apply light coats of spray paint, building up the color gradually to avoid clogging the grille perforations. Allow the paint to dry completely according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions before attaching the grille.

The speaker grille attaches magnetically. Align the grille with the speaker baffle installed in the wall and bring it close. The magnets embedded in the grille and/or baffle will attract, holding the grille securely in place. Ensure it is seated evenly around the edges.

Installation must be carried out in accordance with national building and wiring regulations applicable in your region.
