Activating Storage Media:

1. In the Storage overview section, double-click a storage medium (an iSCSI LUN or local drive). The medium is added as a target in the Managed storage media list, with a status of “Not active”.

2. Click Set to activate all media in the Managed storage media list. The Status column will show all media as “Online”.

3. Check the box in the Rec. 1 or Rec. 2 column to specify the recording tracks to be recorded on the selected target.

The recording scheduler links your created recording profiles to specific days and times. You can access it at Configuration > Recording > Recording Scheduler.

For Weekdays:

1. In the Weekdays tab, click the recording profile you want to assign from the Time periods box.

2. Click a field in the schedule table and, while holding down the left mouse button, drag the cursor across all the time slots (in 15-minute intervals) to be assigned to that profile.

3. You can use “Select All” to select all intervals for a profile or “Clear All” to deselect all intervals.

For Holidays:

1. Click the Holidays tab.

2. Click Add. A new window opens.

3. Select the desired From date and To date from the calendar.

4. Click OK. The holiday period is added to the table.
