The controls and ports for the BAUHN ADABR-1222 are described below:

For first-time use, charge the radio using the supplied USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C cable to the DC 5V port on the back of the radio and the other end to a power source. Charge the device for 5 hours. During charging, the charging LED indicator will light up red and will turn green once the battery is fully charged.

Step 1. Fully extend the antenna.

Step 2. Press and hold the power button to turn the radio on. It will automatically enter DAB mode and search for available stations.

Step 3. If needed, press the SCAN button to search again. Stations with a clear signal will be synchronized and saved.

Step 4. Use the SELECT/ENTER knob to switch between stations and press the knob to play the selected station.

Step 5. Press the INFO/MENU button to view current station information, frequency, and channel number.

Step 1. Press the MODE button to switch the radio to FM mode.

Step 2. Press the SCAN button to search for stations. Stations with a clear signal will be synchronized and saved.

Step 3. Use the SELECT/ENTER knob to switch between stations and press the knob to play a station.

Step 4. Press the INFO/MENU button to view station information such as frequency and channel number.

To save a station: While listening to a station, press and hold the PRESET button to save it.

To recall a preset station: Press the PRESET button once and turn the SELECT/ENTER knob to select the previous or next saved station. Press the SELECT/ENTER knob to confirm and play the selected station.

Step 1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the radio enters Bluetooth mode. The LCD screen will display “BT disconnected” and a sound will be heard.

Step 2. On your external device, search for Bluetooth devices and select “ADABR-1222” to pair.

Step 3. Once successfully connected, the LCD display will show “BT connected.” You can now start streaming music from your device to the radio.

Automatic Setting: When auto-searching for stations, the date and time will automatically synchronize to the station’s transmitted data. Note that the date, time, and clock will reset when the unit is powered off, but will update once a station transmits information to the unit.

Manual Setting: While in DAB mode, press and hold the INFO/MENU button and select Time/Date. Use the SELECT/ENTER knob to manually set the date and time. Once set, press and hold the INFO/MENU button to exit the menu settings.

If there is no sound: Ensure the station is properly tuned in by pressing the SCAN button. Check if the volume is too low or muted and use the VOL + / – button to adjust.

If buttons are not working: Restart the unit.

FM Static or DAB Burbling: Signal reception may be too low. Adjust the antenna or move the unit to a location with a stronger signal. For DAB, try re-scanning stations.

Distorted Sound: Turn the volume down.

Cannot Find Desired Station: The signal may be too weak. Try inputting the station manually. Note that the radio will only keep strong signal stations in FM mode; weak stations are automatically discarded.

Display shows “DAB no signal”: This indicates poor reception or no DAB coverage in your area. Adjust the antenna position or move the unit.
