A) There must be adequate ventilation of the room when the cooker hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels.

G) Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.

H) This appliance is for indoor and household use only.

I) The range hood is intended to be installed over a hob having no more than four hob elements.

J) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

K) This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Installation & Maintenance

L) Disconnect the electrical plug prior to any maintenance.

M) When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the outlet.

Ventilation & Air Discharge

R) Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.

S) The air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room).

T) When the range hood and appliances supplied with energy other than electricity are simultaneously in operation, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (4×10⁻⁵ bar).

U) Observe the warning in the instruction sheet concerning the operation of the appliance when air is discharged from the room.

Cleaning & Fire Safety

V) There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instructions.

W) The filter screen must be cleaned regularly, otherwise there is a danger of fire.

1. Prepare the Wall: Determine the mounting position on the wall. Use the provided stencil to drill four 8mm (Φ8) holes. Insert the four expanding plug screws into the holes. Be careful not to damage any hidden electrical wiring or utilities when drilling.

2. Hang the Hood: Hang the hood body by aligning its two installation holes with the top two screws on the wall. Adjust the hood to its final setting position. Ensure the outside dimension of the screws is 10mm.

3. Secure the Hood: Screw down all four screws to secure the hood. First, tighten the upper two screws, then tighten the lower two screws.


What are the venting options for the ARTUSI ATH601B and how do I connect the ducting?

First, connect the hose (bellows) to the air duct on the top of the hood body.

The ARTUSI ATH601B cooker hood is fully convertible for different venting directions:

Vertical Venting: This is the most common method. If your kitchen has an attic space above, the ducting can be run up through the cupboard and attic to a roof cap.

Horizontal Venting: If your kitchen has a soffit above the cupboards, you can run the duct up into the soffit and then discharge it horizontally through an outside wall to a wall cap.


How do I install the chimney for the ARTUSI ATH601B?

Note: Two assistants are required for this part of the installation.

1. Install the chimney fixed bolster on the wall in the correct corresponding position.

2. Put the outer chimney and inner chimney together and place them onto the main body of the hood.

3. Adjust the position of the two chimneys according to the dimension of the chimney fixed bolster.

4. Use an ST4*8 screw to connect the chimney fixed bolster to the upper chimney, securing it in place.


How do I operate the controls on the ARTUSI ATH601B cooker hood?

The control panel on your ARTUSI ATH601B functions as follows:

Power: Press the power button to put the hood into standby mode.

Fan Speed:

• Press the fan speed increase button to cycle through speeds: Low -> Med -> High -> Stop.

• Press the fan speed decrease button to cycle through speeds: High -> Med -> Low -> Stop.

Light: Press the light button to turn the lights on. Press it again to turn the lights off.

Timer Function:

Set Off-Timer: While the motor is running, press the timer button to activate the time-off setting. Then use the fan speed increase/decrease buttons to set a timer from 1 to 9 minutes, after which the hood will turn off. Press the timer button again to exit this setting.

Set Clock: When the timer button is turned on, long-press it for 3 seconds to enter clock setting mode. Use the fan speed increase/decrease buttons to set the time.


How do I replace the LED lamp on the ARTUSI ATH601B?

Warning: Lamp replacement must be done by qualified personnel. The replacement bulb must not be more than 2W.

1. Disconnect the electrical plug from the power source.

2. Use a flat-head (“-“) type screwdriver to carefully pry out the damaged lamp from its housing.

3. Disconnect the electrical connectors between the damaged lamp and the lamp wire.

4. Connect the new lamp to the lamp wire connectors.

5. Click the new lamp into place in the lamp hole.

Only self-shielded lamps should be used to prevent undue hot parts, fire hazards, and exposure to UV radiation.
