How do I fill the Water Solution Tank on the ANKO CL-2001-22.2V-A?
1. Switch off the Appliance and remove the battery charger if on charge.
2. Remove the Cleaning Solution / Water Tank by pressing down on the top of the tank, pull forward and lift out.
3. Unscrew the cap (anticlockwise) and remove.
4. Following the instructions on the cleaning solution bottle, add the cleaning solution and warm tap water (max. 40°C) to the Cleaning Solution / Water Tank.
5. To work out how much cleaning solution to add to the clean water tank, follow this equation:
For example: If the cleaning solution instructions state to mix 1:15, this means 1 part cleaning solution to 15 parts water.
The water tank holds a maximum of 650ml therefore, we need to determine what 1 part of cleaning solution will be.
1 part = (650ml ÷ 15) = 43.3ml
Therefore, add 43ml of cleaning solution to the clean water tank first, and then fill the rest of the way with warm tap water (max. 40°C).
IMPORTANT: Ensure the cleaning solution to warm water ratio is correct as per the instructions.
6. Replace the Cleaning Solution / Water Tank Cap and tighten clockwise. Do not over tighten.
