How do I fit the ALLEN & HEATH M-SQ-SLINK card into the mixer?
To fit the card, follow these steps:
1. Switch the system off.
2. Use a Torx T8 driver to remove the 2 screws securing the I/O Port blank panel to the SQ mixer.
3. Slide the card into the slot and press it firmly into the mating connector.
4. Refit the 2 screws to secure the card.
What software or firmware is required to use the ALLEN & HEATH M-SQ-SLINK?
You must download and install the latest version of SQ firmware. The ALLEN & HEATH M-SQ-SLINK requires SQ firmware V1.3 or above.
What do the front panel indicators and ports do on the ALLEN & HEATH M-SQ-SLINK?
The front panel contains a Link Status indicator which flashes to indicate network activity. It also features the SLink port, which is a Locking EtherCon port.
How do I patch signals to or from the ALLEN & HEATH M-SQ-SLINK?
You should use the SQ I/O screen to patch signals to or from the I/O Port.
How do I configure the clock source when using the ALLEN & HEATH M-SQ-SLINK?
Use the Setup / Audio / Audio Sync screen to select the clock source for the mixer. Typically, this is set to Internal, though it can be switched to I/O Port if connecting directly to another desk (e.g., when connecting to a dLive GigaACE option card or another SLink port). Note that there should only be one clock ‘master’ in a system.
