What are the installation steps for the AIRFLOW MAXAIR 7006A exhaust fan?

Please follow these steps to install your AIRFLOW MAXAIR 7006A exhaust fan:

1. Check the proposed location to ensure it will not foul joists, existing wiring, or other internal wall features. The wall thickness must be between 110mm and 310mm. Use the provided template to mark out the hole and cut a 180mm diameter hole through the wall.

2. Screw the fan assembly to the wall via the four corner openings. Use appropriate fasteners for your wall type (fasteners not provided).

3. Remove the termination cover by undoing the three marked screws. Retain these screws for reassembly.

4. An electrician must make the electrical connection (see wiring instructions). Once complete, replace the termination cover.

5. With the fan assembly mounted, cut the included PVC sheet to suit the depth of your wall.

6. Coil the cut PVC sheet around the wall grille outlet spigot and slide it into the retaining clips on the fan assembly.

7. Screw the wall grille outlet to the external wall. The PVC sheet should overlap the duct by approximately 20mm. Use appropriate fasteners (not provided).

8. Place the main cover assembly onto the fan unit as shown, and tighten the retaining screw. Test the fan to ensure it is ready to go.
