There is no set temperature displayed during Fan-Only Mode.


How do I change the operating mode?

The operating modes can be changed by pressing the Operation MODE button until the desired mode appears on the display. Fan-Only, Cooling, and Heating modes are available. For all modes of operation, LOW, MED, HIGH, LOW CONT, MED CONT and HIGH CONT fan speeds can only be selected if the 3-Speed Fan setting option is selected. Otherwise, MED and MED CONT are available for 1-Speed Fan. When in Fan-Only Mode, LOW CONT, MED CONT and HIGH CONT will not be available. When the system is ON, the Indoor Fan can run continuously, indicated by the CONT indicator on the LCD. This is generally preferred during the Cooling Mode to ensure maximum air circulation. When set to LOW, MED, or HIGH, the fan will cycle with the compressor operation according to set point and room temperatures.


How do I use the Fan-Only operation?

Press the MODE button until FAN appears on the display. Adjust the indoor fan speed (LOW, MED, and HIGH) by pressing the FAN button until the desired speed is reached (only for 3-speed fan).

Wall Control 2 and 3 (C-2 and C-3) will skip these Menus and directly proceed at Menu 04.


What is the 7-Day Programmable Function?

The 7-Day Time clock feature of the control allows you to set the air conditioning system to Turn-ON and Turn-OFF at different times for each day of the week. Each day can have 2-Programmed Events. Each event has an On and Off time. It’s important to ensure that the current day and time are set correctly before proceeding with programming. To reset any scheduled time clock events, press and hold the PROG and DISP buttons for 3 seconds.

Proceed to the day you wish to copy the programmed events and times. SET, EVENT 1, TIME CLOCK, PROG, MON, and ON will be illuminated on the screen. The repeat function can only be applied to the succeeding day with programmed events. Press the PROG button until you reach the succeeding day, TUE, to paste the copied programmed events and times. Press the REPEAT button. You have now copied the previous day’s events into the current day displayed. Repeat the above steps for the remaining days where you wish to repeat the programmed events and times.


What are the limitations of setting Event ON and OFF times?

Event ON times can be set up to 11:45 PM of the current day. Event OFF times can be set to the following day up to 23 hours and 45 minutes after the ON time. If you program Event 1 past midnight, Event 2 will be automatically canceled.

The temperature set back feature will maintain the building temperature at a pre-determined and reasonable temperature closer to your chosen set temperature, thus giving you a big head start in achieving your comfortable temperature. Normally, the air conditioning system is turned off at unoccupied times or at night, which can result in the building temperature becoming quite hot (e.g., 30oC) or quite cold (e.g., 12oC). When you turn on the air conditioning system, it can take a long time to achieve a comfortable temperature (e.g., 23oC).


How do I activate the temperature set back feature?

How do I reset the filter timer?

Ensure the control is turned OFF before proceeding to resetting the Filter Timer. When the screen flashes FILTER, press the button to reset the timer after cleaning the filter. The flashing FILTER display will disappear.


How do I turn on/off and set the After Hours function?

The AFTER HOURS status is disabled (OFF) by default. For the AFTER HOURS run timer to operate, the TIME CLOCK operation has to be enabled. If the AFTER HOURS run timer overlaps with the scheduled TIME CLOCK event ON, the unit will continue running with the AFTER HOURS indicator displayed on the screen. Once the overlapped AFTER HOURS run timer expires, the control will turn OFF until the button is pressed again or the next scheduled ON event occurs. If the AFTER HOURS run timer expires earlier than the current TIME CLOCK event ON, the unit will continue operating to the current TIME CLOCK schedule. Press the AFTER HRS button. The after hours timer, AFTER HOURS, and OFF indicators will be displayed. Press the or buttons to select ON or OFF. Press the PROG button. AFTER HOURS will begin blinking. Press the or buttons to increase / decrease the AFTER HOURS timer in 0.5 hour (30 minute) increments. Press the PROG button to accept changes.


How do I cancel an active AFTER HOURS function?

Press the button. The unit will turn off, as well as the after hour function. If AFTER HOURS is canceled during a time clock schedule, the AFTER HOURS indicator will disappear, and the system will operate based on the time clock schedule. During the setting of AFTER HOURS, if no button is pressed for 5 seconds, the user will be returned to the home screen.
