This document contains instructions for installing a 341pro/341flt/541pro/545sta/541/545 system mount on a floor, an A-dec Inspire® 391/591 Treatment Console, or a Preference Collection® 5580, 5562, or 5662 cabinet subbase.

What should I do before I begin installation?
Check with local building and code authorities about installation requirements specific to your location.
Check that the manual air shut-off valve is installed.

What should I do before attaching the mount to a floor?
Verify that the floors have been properly prepared for the floor mount installation. Refer to the Pre-Installation Guide for the cabinet.

What tools are recommended to attach the mount to a concrete floor?
Drill
1/2″ concrete drill bit (12″ long)
Ratchet (1/2″ drive)
What are the steps to attach the mount to a concrete floor?
Locate and mark the mounting holes for drilling.
Drill the mounting holes:
Drill 1/2″ (13 mm) diameter holes 2-3/4″ (70 mm) deep.
Remove debris from the holes.
Install four 1/2″ x 4″ concrete studs into the holes and tighten the washers and nuts on the studs.
What tools are recommended to attach the mount to a non-concrete floor?
Drill
3/8″ wood drill bit
Ratchet (3/8″ drive)
3/8″ x 4″ ratchet extension
What are the steps to attach the mount to a non-concrete floor?
Locate and mark the mounting holes for drilling.
Drill the mounting holes:
Drill 3/8″ (9.5 mm) diameter holes 3-1/4″ (83 mm) deep.
Remove debris from the holes.
Use four 1/2″ x 4″ lag screws and washers to secure the mount.
What are the steps to attach the mount to an Inspire 391/591 Treatment Console?
Ensure the doors and false bottom are not installed on the lower cabinet.
Slide the mount housing bracket from the kit into the subbase.
Use a Phillips head screwdriver and the eight screws from the kit to attach the mount housing bracket to the subbase rails.
Use a 5/32″ hex key to loosen the six adjustment screws on the inside of the mount housing bracket.
Slide the mount into the housing and align the holes in the mount with the holes in the housing plate.
Lower the housing plate so that it sits snugly on top of the mount.
Tighten the six adjustment screws on the inside of the mount housing bracket.
Use a 5/16″ hex key and four mounting screws from the hardware kit to secure the mount to the housing plate. Tighten the screws until snug.

What tools are recommended to adjust the Mount Housing Bracket on a 391/591 Cabinet?

What tools are recommended to attach the Mount on a 391/591 Cabinet?
5/16″ hex key

What are the steps to attach the Mount to Preference Collection Cabinets with Factory-Installed Mounting Hardware?
Use a 3/16″ hex key to loosen the six (1/4-20 x 1/2″ socket head patch) adjustment bracket screws. This allows the adjustment brackets to slide up as needed when the mount is inserted under the cabinet.
Slide the mount under the cabinet.
Partially tighten the six adjustment bracket screws.
Position the anchor plate on the two adjustment brackets.
Use a 3/16″ hex key and the four socket head patch screws and washers included in the kit to secure the anchor plate. Partially tighten the screws so the mount moves freely while positioning and to help ensure good contact with the floor.
Check that the mount is flush with the floor.
Use a 5/16″ hex key to tighten the mount screws until snug.
Verify that the mount did not lift up when the anchor plate was installed. The mount should still be flush with the floor.
Use a 3/16″ hex key to fully tighten the six adjustment bracket screws.
What tools are recommended to attach the Mount to Preference Collection Cabinets with Factory-Installed Mounting Hardware?

What are the steps to attach the Mount to Preference Collection Cabinets Without Factory-Installed Mounting Hardware?
Use a 3/16″ hex key to loosen the decorative screws securing the subbase clips to the cabinet bottom panel.
Remove and discard the clips.
Leave the screws in the panel for mounting the upper support bracket assemblies.
Use a 3/16″ hex key and four 1/4-20 x 1/2″ socket head patch screws to attach the two upper support brackets to the two upper rails.
Use a 3/16″ hex key and four decorative 1/4-20 screws to attach the two upper support bracket assemblies to the underside of the cabinet’s bottom panel.
Use a 3/16″ hex key and six of the 1/4-20 x 1/2″ socket head patch screws to attach the adjustment brackets to the upper support bracket assemblies.
Do not fully tighten the screws, so that the adjustment brackets can slide up as needed when the mount is inserted under the cabinet.
Slide the mount under the cabinet.
Use a 3/16″ hex key and the four socket head patch screws included in the kit to secure the anchor plate.
Partially tighten the screws so the mount moves freely while positioning and to help ensure good contact with the floor.
Check that the mount is flush with the floor.
Use a 5/16″ hex key to tighten the mount screws until snug.
Verify that the mount did not lift up when the anchor plate was installed. The mount should still be flush with the floor.
Use a 3/16″ hex key to fully tighten the six adjustment bracket screws.

How do I test the system?
When installation is complete, check that the mount is flush with the floor and that all screws are fully tightened.
How to install the base covers?
When testing is complete, install the left and right base covers, and then the corner covers.
