When using your YAMAHA YPP-55, basic precautions should always be followed:
1. Read all safety, installation, and assembly instructions before use. Check the unit’s weight specifications before moving it.
2. Verify the main power supply. Your piano is manufactured for the main supply voltage in your area. If you move, contact your dealer for instructions. The required voltage is printed on the name plate.
3. This product may have a polarized line plug. This is a safety feature. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug.
4. Do not place objects on the power cord or place the unit where anyone could trip over or walk over the cords. Do not allow the piano or its bench to rest on cords of any type.
5. Install the piano away from heat sources like radiators, direct sunlight, or areas with high humidity or heat levels.
6. Ensure the piano is placed so that its location does not interfere with proper ventilation.
7. If your piano came with a bench, ensure it is stable before use. The bench is designed for seating only.
8. The piano should be used only with the components supplied or a cart/stand recommended by the manufacturer.

11. Be careful that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure.
12. The piano should be serviced by a qualified service person if the power cord is damaged, objects have fallen into it, it has been exposed to rain, it does not operate correctly, or it has been dropped.
13. Always turn the piano “OFF” when not in use. Unplug the power cord if it will be unused for a long period.
14. Do not attempt service beyond the user-maintenance instructions. Refer all other servicing to qualified personnel.
15. This product uses digital technology that may affect Radio/TV reception. Refer to the FCC Information section for more details.
