  3. If the dehumidifier is shut off or loses power, when turned on again, the dehumidifier will work on the last known configuration.

How does dehumidification work?

  • When the machine is dehumidifying, the dehumidification light goes on.
  • If the dehumidification light is flashing, it means that dehumidification is temporarily paused or the environment humidity has reached the setting level. Wait until the machine completes the startup or until the humidity level rises again.

How does defrosting work?

  • When the evaporator coil or the environment temperature is too low, frost may appear on the evaporator, which will cause a lower effectiveness of the dehumidification. The machine will start defrosting until the temperature goes back to normal.
  • When the machine is defrosting, the dehumidification pauses. The dehumidification light goes off, and the defrosting light will go on.
  • Do not turn off the machine during the defrosting process.

When should I close the secondary intake?

Close the secondary intake when the environment temperature falls under 60 °F (16 °C) or in contaminated environments for better efficiency. To close it, remove the filter case, rotate, and reinstall.

How does drainage work?

  • Press the Manual Drainage button to process drainage manually. It will last for 3 minutes (180 seconds) and won’t stop dehumidification or defrosting.
  • In dehumidification mode, the machine will automatically process drainage for 2 minutes (120 seconds) every 15 minutes (900 seconds). This won’t stop the dehumidification process.
  • If the water tank is full or not positioned horizontally, the water tank full indicator light will go on. Any dehumidification or defrosting process will pause, and the machine will automatically process drainage for 3 minutes (180 seconds). If the water tank is still detected as full, an error code will be displayed.
  • When turned off, the machine will automatically process drainage for 2 minutes (120 seconds). Wait until this process is complete.
