What are the important safety instructions for the Xeneo X21 speaker?
Keep the speaker away from any source of heat.
If you do not use this speaker for a long time, please charge it at least once within one month to prevent the lithium battery from being damaged by excessive consumption.
Adjust the volume to a suitable level so as to avoid damaging your hearing.

How do I turn the speaker on or off?
Long press the power button for 2 seconds to power the speaker on or off. The speaker will enter Bluetooth mode by default when powered on.
How do I pair the speaker with a Bluetooth device?
1. Turn on the speaker. The operation indicator will flash, which means it is ready to be paired.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your mobile or other device and search for available devices.
3. Find and select “XENEO X21” to connect. The speaker will play a long prompt tune, and the operation indicator will stop flashing and show a solid white light.
You can also short press the Bluetooth button to quickly enter Bluetooth mode from any other mode.
How do I use the hands-free communication feature for phone calls?
Short Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call.
Short Press the Play/Pause button again to hang up the call.
Long Press the Play/Pause button to refuse an incoming call.
How do I disconnect the current Bluetooth connection?
Long press the Bluetooth button to disconnect the current Bluetooth connection. The speaker will play a short prompt tune. This clears the memory of the previously connected device, making it ready to be paired with a new device.
How do I pair two X21 speakers for True Wireless Stereo (TWS) mode?
1. Power on two X21 speakers and ensure both are in Bluetooth mode with no active Bluetooth connections.
2. Long Press the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds on one of the speakers. This speaker will become the MASTER speaker, and the other will be the SLAVE speaker.
3. After 6-8 seconds, the master speaker will prompt “TWS Paired”. The operation indicator of the slave speaker will show a solid blue light, while the master speaker’s indicator will keep flashing in white, meaning it’s ready for Bluetooth pairing.
4. Now, connect your device via Bluetooth to the MASTER speaker only. You can now enjoy left and right channel stereo sound.
Disconnecting TWS: Long press the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds again to disconnect the TWS pairing. The master speaker will prompt “TWS Cleared,” and the operation indicators on both speakers will flash white. You can long press the Play/Pause button again to reconnect TWS.
Notes:
You must have two X21 speakers to use TWS pairing.
The pairing time for two never-before-paired speakers can take up to 60 seconds.
TWS mode also works in AUX-in mode. You must complete the TWS pairing first, then plug the 3.5mm AUX cable into the master speaker. (FM & SD card modes do not support TWS).
When you power off one speaker in TWS mode, both speakers will power off.
The mode switch button on the slave speaker will not work in TWS pairing mode. If you press the mode switch button on the master speaker, the TWS pairing will be disconnected automatically.
How do I play music from a Micro SD card?
Insert a Micro SD card into the speaker’s card slot. Short press the Power/Mode button to switch to SD card mode; the speaker will prompt “memory card mode”. It will then start to play music from the card. Short press the + or – buttons to switch to the next or previous track. The speaker supports Micro SD cards up to 32G.
How do I use the speaker in Aux-in mode?
Use the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the speaker to an audio source (PC, MP3/MP4, mobile phone). Short press the Power/Mode button to enter “AUX IN” mode (the speaker will prompt “Aux-in mode”). The speaker will then play music from the connected audio source.
Notes:
The track switch buttons on the speaker do not work in AUX-in Mode. You can only switch tracks from the audio source device itself.
Press the Play/Pause button to mute the speaker, but the audio source will continue to play music.
How do I use the FM Radio function?
Short press the Power/Mode button to switch to FM mode. The speaker will prompt “FM mode”.
Long press the Play/Pause button to scan for available FM channels. Each available channel will be previewed for 3 seconds, and then the speaker will stay on the last available channel.
Short press the + or – buttons to switch between channels.
Notes:
You may long press the Play/Pause button to rescan for available channels if you change location.
Plug in the 3.5mm Aux cable to act as an antenna and strengthen FM reception if you are in an area with poor radio coverage.
How do I use the speaker as a card reader?
Power off the speaker. Insert a Micro SD card, then use the USB cable to connect the speaker to a computer. The speaker will enter card reader mode, allowing you to copy sound track files directly to the Micro SD card.
Note: The first time using this function, your computer may need to install a driver automatically.
What is the intelligent power saving function and how does it work?
The speaker has several power-saving features:
In Bluetooth mode, if the speaker is not playing for more than 20 minutes, or is disconnected for more than 20 minutes, it will automatically shut off.
In Aux-In, Memory card, or FM mode, if the speaker is paused or muted for more than 20 minutes, it will automatically shut off.
The speaker will enter a power-saving mode when the remaining battery power is less than 15%. It will prompt with a “3 DUDU tune” and decrease the volume to 50% to protect the battery from excessive consumption.
How do I charge the speaker?
To charge the speaker, connect it using the included Micro USB cable and a 5V 1A power adapter to a power source. The charging port is located under the flip-up rubber patch.
When the speaker is charging, the power indicator will keep flashing in white. It will show a solid white light when fully charged.
Please use a good quality power adapter. With a 5V 1A adapter, a full charge will take around 4-5 hours. If the power adapter is only 5V 0.5A, the charging time could be doubled.
What should I do if my Bluetooth device cannot connect to the speaker?
a. Please check if your Bluetooth device (your mobile or computer) can support A2DP stereo audio transmission. If yes, please turn on the A2DP stereo mode.
b. Long press the Bluetooth button on the X21 speaker to clear any previous Bluetooth device memory.
c. Try to restart the speaker, then enter Bluetooth mode. Make sure the operation indication is flashing in white, which means it is ready for pairing.
What should I do if the Micro SD card is not working?
a. Ensure that the Micro SD card is in good condition. Also, check that the audio files are in the correct formats – MP3/WMA/WAV/APE/FLAC.
b. There might be a compatibility issue with the Micro SD card. We recommend formatting the card to FAT32 format.
c. Check if there is any dust or dirt in the card slot.
What should I do if TWS pairing is not working?
a. Check if either of the speakers is already connected to any device. The two speakers cannot be TWS paired if one of them is already Bluetooth connected.
b. If these two X21 speakers were previously paired with a third X21 speaker, you need to remove the pairing memory first. In Bluetooth mode without any active connection, long press the Play/Pause button on both speakers to remove the previous pairing memory.
c. The TWS pairing range is a maximum of 20ft. Make sure the two speakers are placed close enough to each other.
What should I do if there is a program error, modes cannot be switched, or a button is not working?
a. Restart the speaker and try again.
b. It may be necessary to re-burn the firmware system.
