The WINE CELL’R WC-45BK has the following features:

• Approximately 45-bottle holding capacity.

• Designed to be used in the standing position only.

• A “BUILT-IN” design with a lower front cabinet and grill that enables installation in areas like kitchen cabinets.

• Dual temperature zones provide proper storage climate for all your wines, with a range from 40°F-65°F (4°C-18°C).

• An interior LED light to highlight your personal display.

• An adjustable leg to ensure proper leveling and installation for long-term reliability.

• Please note, the wine cellar is not designed for use in a garage or other extreme environments.

To properly install your WINE CELL’R WC-45BK, please follow these guidelines:

• Install your wine cellar on a solid and level floor (other than a carpet). This will ensure a vibration and noise-free operation.

• Adjust the leveling legs in and out accordingly to stabilize the wine cellar horizontally. If the legs are not properly adjusted, the wine cellar may be unstable and result in excess noise or vibration.

• It is not advisable to install the wine cellar directly adjacent to a kitchen sink, as moisture could cause premature corrosion to the components.

• Do not install your new wine cellar in direct sunlight or near an oven range or other high-temperature sources, as these may affect the proper storage temperature and compromise the taste of your wine.

• Do not install your wine cellar in a garage or basement.

Before you throw away your old wine cellar, take off the door. Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside.

To remove the wine shelves:

1. Remove any bottles stored on the racks.

2. Pull out the racks and press the black tongues on each side.

To put the shelves back in place:

Push the racks into the sliders all the way to the back of the wine cellar. If inserted correctly, the tongues will prevent the shelves from being pulled out completely by accident.

The control panel has two LED displays: the right display shows the temperature for the upper (white wine) zone, and the left display shows the temperature for the lower (red wine) zone.

Temperature Zones:

• Red wines are usually stored in the lower three shelves. The temperature for red wines can be adjusted from 55°F-65°F (13°C-18°C). The red wine temperature is pre-set at 55°F (13°C).

• White wines are stored in the upper three shelves. The temperature for white wines can be adjusted from 40°F-54°F (4°C-12°C). The white wine temperature is pre-set at 48°F (9°C).

• The temperature setting between compartments should be no more than 18°F (10°C).

Adjusting Temperature:

• The white wine temperature is controlled by the right digital temperature control. The red wine temperature is controlled by the left digital temperature control.

• To increase the temperature of the desired level, press the (+) button. To decrease the temperature, press the (-) button.

Display Codes:

• “LL” will show if the cabinet temperature is too low.

• “HH” will show if the temperature is too high.

• “ER” will show if there has been a power disruption.

Light Operation:

To view your wines inside, press the ON/OFF lamp button. Please note that the light can produce some heat; therefore, extended or prolonged lighting can affect inner storage temperature.

Other Operations:

• If there is a power failure, the wine cooler will revert to its own pre-set temperature setting.

• Reduce the frequency of opening the door to conserve energy. Do not keep the door open for longer than necessary.

• Do not lay the wine cellar on its side during transportation.

• The wine cellar should not be put at an angle of more than 45° during transportation. This might damage the compressor.

• Do not handle or lift the cellar by its door.

• Collision and violent vibrations should be avoided during moving and transportation.

• When using the wine cellar for the first time or after it has been moved, wait for 24 hours before plugging it in to avoid damage to the compressor.

• After removing the power plug from the outlet, wait 5 minutes before plugging the wine cellar in again to avoid damaging the compressor.

• If there seems to be a temperature sensor failure, please reset the wine cellar: turn it on for 5 minutes, turn it off for 20 minutes and turn it back on.

• To prevent accidents, do not use it on an overloaded circuit or outlet. The electrical outlet should have proper ground fault protection.

• Do not place weight on the electrical cord. Please contact a qualified electrician to have the power cord replaced in accordance with applicable electrical codes.

• Remove all packing prior to using the wine cellar to ensure its proper operation.

• Explosive containers or hazardous chemicals cannot be stored in the wine cellar under any circumstances.

• Be careful not to pour water or other liquids on the wine cellar. Moisture on the electrical wires or components could result in an electrical hazard, short circuit or other malfunctions.

• Internal wine cellar temperature fluctuations are normal.

• Do not put excessive weight on the wine cellar or on its door. This might affect its stability and make it topple over.

If the wine cooler does not get cold at all:

• Check to ensure the power plug is installed properly.

If the wine cooler does not get cold enough:

• Is the temperature set too high?

• Is the door being opened and closed too frequently?

• Has the interior light been on for an extended period?

If the wine cooler seems to be noisy:

• Make sure it is properly leveled and standing up firmly. You may have to adjust the leveling legs.

• Also check to see if there may be another source of noise nearby as this might be the noise source.

Because of refrigerant circulation in the evaporator, a common sound similar to running water may sometimes be heard when the compressor is working. This is normal.

There could also be a pit-a-pat sound when operation starts or stops. This is also normal.

Before removing the inner light, turn off the wine cellar first and then unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury.

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw.

2. Remove the transparent light cover by pulling downwards gently.

3. Pull out the connectors and remove the LED board.

4. Replace with a new LED board that is the same shape and size.

5. Replace the transparent light cover and tighten the screw.

For proper positioning and to maximize capacity, bottles on the same shelf should be placed with their necks facing in opposite directions. For example, place one bottle with the neck facing the back of the unit, and the next bottle with its neck facing the front door, alternating for each bottle in the row.
