How to assemble the headlight?

1. Carefully remove the fiber optic bundle from the plastic bag.
2. Carefully remove the headlight assembly from the plastic bag.
3. Insert the fiber optic bundle distal end into the luminaire.
4. Drape the fiber optic bundle over the top of the headband. Align marks on the fiber optic bundle with clips attached to the top and back of the headband. Press the bundle into clips.
5. Turn the light source intensity down to the minimum. Insert the fiber optic bundle proximal end into the light source port.
6. Turn the light source on. Adjust the light intensity as desired.

How to operate the headlight?

1. Adjust the size of the illumination spot by turning the grooved dial on the luminaire. The spot size ranges from .75in to 3in (20mm to 75mm) in diameter with a 16in (40cm) working distance.
2. Use knobs at the top and rear of the headlight assembly to adjust the headbands for fit and comfort. The bottom of the headband should be even with the tops of the ears.
3. For greatest comfort, use a gown clip to secure the fiber optic bundle to the user’s surgical gown.
4. The headlight assembly can assume a wide variety of positions. Use the joystick to adjust. For easiest adjustment, place it in an indirect position before putting on the headlight. While wearing the headlight, adjust the luminaire downward as desired.

The exterior surfaces of the luminaire, headband, and fiber optic bundle can be wiped clean with any of these solutions:
