What are the general safety precautions I should take before using the washing machine?
Read the user manual carefully before use.
Your machine is for domestic use only. Commercial use will void the warranty.
Ensure the ambient temperature for operation is between 15-25 °C. Temperatures below 0 °C can cause hoses to split or the electronic card to malfunction.
Make sure laundry items are free from foreign objects like nails, needles, lighters, and coins.
For the first wash, it’s recommended to select the 90° Cotton programme without laundry, adding a suitable detergent to compartment II of the detergent drawer.
Only add softener or detergent at the beginning of each wash.
Unplug the machine and turn off the water supply if it will be unused for a long time. Leave the door open to prevent humidity build-up.
Keep packaging materials away from children.
Use pre-wash programs only for very dirty laundry.
Never open the detergent drawer while the machine is running.
In case of a breakdown, unplug the machine, turn off the water supply, and contact an authorised service agent. Do not attempt repairs yourself.
Do not exceed the maximum load for the chosen programme.
Never force the door open when the machine is running.
Washing laundry containing flour may damage the machine.
Follow manufacturer instructions for fabric conditioners or similar products.
Ensure the machine door is not restricted and can open fully.
Install the machine in a well-ventilated location.
Do not touch the drain hose or discharged water during operation due to high temperatures (burn risk).
Do not connect the machine to the mains using an extension lead.
Do not insert a damaged plug into the socket.
Never remove the plug by pulling the cord; always hold the plug.
Do not touch the power cord/plug with wet hands.
Do not touch the machine if your hands or feet are wet.
A damaged power cord must be replaced by qualified personnel.
Check water flow speed before placing the drain hose in a sink.
Secure the drain hose to prevent slipping and ensure the sink plug doesn’t block the hole.
Do not store flammable liquids near the machine.
Never use paint removers or products containing solvents in the machine.
Do not climb on the machine.
Ensure hoses and cables do not pose a trip hazard.
Do not turn the machine upside down or on its side.
Do not lift the machine using the door or detergent drawer.
The machine must be carried by at least 2 people.
What are the safety warnings regarding children?
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
Do not leave children unattended near the machine; they might lock themselves inside.
Do not allow children to touch the glass door during operation; it gets very hot.
Keep packaging material away from children.
Keep cleaning materials (detergents, etc.) out of the reach of children, as consumption or contact can cause poisoning and irritation.
What should I check during use?
Keep pets away from the machine.
Check the packaging and outer surface before installation. Do not operate if damaged or opened.
Installation must be done by an authorised service agent only.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised or instructed on safe use.
Only use the machine for laundry labelled as suitable for washing by the manufacturer.
Remove the 4 transit bolts and rubber spacers from the rear before operating. Failure to do so can cause heavy vibration, noise, malfunction, and void the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage from external factors (fire, flooding, etc.).
Keep the user manual for future reference.
How should I dispose of the machine and packaging?
Packaging materials are environmentally friendly and recyclable. Dispose of them appropriately.
Old machines should not be treated as household waste. Hand them over to the applicable collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment to prevent negative environmental and health consequences.
How can I use the washing machine most efficiently (Savings Information)?
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity for the chosen programme. This allows the machine to run in energy-saving mode.
Do not use the pre-wash feature for lightly soiled laundry to save electricity and water.
The most efficient programmes generally operate at lower temperatures and have longer durations.
Loading the machine up to the indicated capacity contributes to energy and water savings.
Use liquid detergent for low-temperature programmes. Follow detergent manufacturer recommendations for the amount.
Noise and remaining moisture content are influenced by spinning speed; higher speed means higher noise and lower remaining moisture.
