When using the VONHAUS 2500601, always follow basic safety precautions:

Do not allow it to be used as a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

If the appliance is not functioning properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or immersed in liquid, do not use it.

Do not use the appliance if any parts appear to be faulty, missing or damaged.

Ensure all parts are securely attached before use.

Do not handle the plug or appliance with wet hands.

Check to ensure your electricity supply matches that shown on the rating plate. The appliance must only be used as rated. Preferably, the socket outlet should be protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD).

The use of an extension cable is not recommended.

Step 1. Before first use, remove the VONHAUS 2500601 and all packaging carefully.

Step 2. Clean the appliance by wiping the outer surface with a damp cloth and drying it thoroughly. CAUTION: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Take care not to allow any water or liquid to enter the product housing.

Step 3. Wash the Removable Bowl and Glass Lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Step 1. Gather the Lid Knob, Washer, and Screw.

Step 2. Turn the Glass Lid upside down and carefully place the Washer onto the central hole.

Step 3. Place the Knob onto the Washer.

Step 4. Insert the Screw through the bottom of the Lid and tighten into the Knob. CAUTION: Do not over-tighten as this may cause the lid to crack.

Step 1. Place the VONHAUS 2500601 on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. WARNING! Never place the appliance on a flammable or heat-sensitive surface.

Step 2. Prepare all ingredients and place them in the Removable Bowl.

Step 3. Place the Removable Bowl into the main unit and cover with the Glass Lid.

Step 4. Insert the plug into a suitable mains socket.

Step 5. Select the required temperature setting using the Control Dial:

OFF: The appliance will not heat.

LOW: The appliance will heat gently and is ideal for simmering and slow cooking.

HIGH: The appliance will reach a higher temperature and is ideal for searing and faster cooking.

AUTO: The appliance will begin cooking on HIGH. Once the set temperature is reached, the appliance will automatically switch to the LOW setting to keep the food warm.

Step 6. When cooking is complete, turn the Control Dial to the OFF position.

Step 7. Using oven gloves, carefully remove the Glass Lid by lifting it away from you to prevent injury from the steam.

Step 8. The food is now ready to serve. If you wish to serve directly from the Removable Bowl, always place it on a heat-proof mat. WARNING! The Removable Bowl will be extremely hot. Always use oven gloves when handling.

Step 9. Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket.

Step 10. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning and storing.

CAUTION: Before cleaning or performing maintenance on the VONHAUS 2500601, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and ensure it has completely cooled.

Clean the Main Unit by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. CAUTION: Never immerse the Main Unit in water or any other liquid for cleaning. Take care not to allow any water or liquid to enter the product housing. IMPORTANT: Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads to clean the appliance as this may damage the surface.

Wash the Removable Bowl and Glass Lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Alternatively, the Removable Bowl and Glass Lid are dishwasher-safe. Ensure any dried-on food is removed before placing in the dishwasher.

Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

If your VONHAUS 2500601 is not working, first check that the appliance is plugged into the mains socket and that the power is on. Also, check the fuse in the plug for any issues.

If the power indicator light on your VONHAUS 2500601 is not on, check that the appliance is plugged in and the mains socket is switched on. Ensure the Control Dial is set to LOW, HIGH, or AUTO.
