What are the important safety instructions for installing the VIVITEK LT30B-G projector wall mount?

Be sure this manual is completely understood before installation work.

Installation or dismounting of the projector from the projector wall mount must be carried out only by qualified service personnel (two or more).

Using products heavier than the maximum weight (Weight Capacity: < 33lb) indicated may result in instability causing possible injury.

For safety reasons, check the strength of the wall before installation. If the wall is not strong enough, reinforce it sufficiently before installation.

Do not make alterations to the projector wall mount.

Do not install the projector wall mount on a wall subject to vibration or impact.

Adhere to projector environmental specifications pertaining to humidity and temperature.

Use the supplied accessories only. Use of accessories other than those supplied may result in damage to the projector wall mount.

When dismounting the projector from the projector wall mount, be sure to unplug the AC power cord and other connecting cables beforehand.

Do not hit or hang any heavy objects on the projector wall mount. If the projector wall mount is damaged, stop use and contact a qualified service person immediately.

Please install this apparatus only on the horizontal surface instead of the slanting one.

What are the wall mounting requirements for the VIVITEK LT30B-G?

The bracket is suitable for concrete wall mounting or wooden stud walls.

Concrete wall mounting thickness must be a minimum 4″ (100mm). Anchor bolt and screw (M6 × 55) are needed to be used for concrete wall installation.

Dry-wall wall thickness must be a minimum 4.5″ (114mm). Only screw (M6 × 55) is needed to be used for installation, and gypsum board thickness less than 0.59″ (15mm).

If the wall is not strong enough, reinforce it sufficiently before installation.

For mounting holes: Concrete wall mounting requires a 10-11mm drill bit with a depth greater than 55mm. Wood stud mounting requires a 3mm drill bit.


How do I install the VIVITEK LT30B-G wall plate?

1. Take off the cap.

2. Loosen the screw on the bracket.

3. When installation is on a wood stud wall, align the center of the wall mount plate with the center of the stud.

4. Orient the wall plate with the arrows pointing up.

5. For concrete wall mounting, screws (M6 × 55) and anchor bolts are needed.

6. For dry-wall mounting, only screws (M6 × 55) are needed (do not use anchor bolts).


How do I route cables through the VIVITEK LT30B-G support arm?

1. Loosen the screws with an L3 allen wrench.

2. Pull out the support arm around 4″ (100mm).

3. Make power cable and signal cables go through the support arm.

4. The cables can be got through the wall plate by three ways as shown in the pictures in the manual.

5. Lock the screw “F”, but do not tighten it yet.


How do I attach the projector to the VIVITEK LT30B-G mount?

1. If the projector surface is not flat, please use the “G” spacers to avoid interference.

2. Attach the projector mounting plate using the appropriate screws.

3. Move the projector mounting plate leftwards/rightwards to determine the projector position.

4. Adjust the projector upward/downward according to your need. The sliding distance for adjusting upward/downward is 3.15″ (80mm).

5. Tighten the screw “F” after locating the projector position.

6. Tighten the screws to secure the projector.

7. Connect the power cable and other signal cables to the projector.


How do I adjust the VIVITEK LT30B-G projector forwards or backwards?

Check the scaleplate to see the distance from the mounting plate to the wall.

To make adjustments to meet your demands, screws must be loosened in a specific order. When the length of the inside arm does not meet your requirements, then you should loosen the screws on the outside arm to adjust the middle arm. Under this circumstance, the number read on the middle arm is correct.


How do I adjust the vertical tilt and horizontal roll on the VIVITEK LT30B-G?

To Adjust The Vertical Tilt Knob: Rotate the adjustment knob. Rotating towards “A” adjusts the screen direction upwards/inwards. Rotating towards “B” adjusts the screen direction downwards/outwards.

To Adjust The Horizontal Roll Knob: Rotate the adjustment knob. Rotating towards “A” tilts the screen adjustment direction to the left. Rotating towards “B” tilts the screen adjustment direction to the right.


How do I adjust the horizontal rotation on the VIVITEK LT30B-G?

Use the Horizontal Rotation Knob. Rotating towards “A” rotates the screen adjustment direction left. Rotating towards “B” rotates the screen adjustment direction right.


How do I install the decorative covers on the VIVITEK LT30B-G?

When all adjustments are completed, the wall plate covers can be used to cover the blank area on the top of the wall plate. The number of wall plate covers used depends on the size of the blank area.

The wall cover must be used in a specific order as shown in the manual (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4). Finally, put the wall cover on.
