The V-2972 Call Switch is designed to be used with Talkback Page Control Units that have the remote calling feature. It provides a momentary spring return rocker switch for connection to customer-provided signaling equipment.

1. Connect the two switch inputs (Control unit SW) from the control unit to the V-2972.

2. Connections are made using the factory-supplied 3-inch insulated pigtails that connect to push-on style spade clip terminals on the rear of the switch.

3. Place the V-2972 over a standard single-gang electrical box (minimum depth of 2 inches) and fasten it in place using the two #6-32 screws provided.

When trouble is reported, verify that there are no shorts or grounds on the cabling connected to the unit.

When calling for technical support, you should have a VOM (Volt-Ohm Meter) and a telephone test set available, and you should call from the job site where the equipment is installed.
