Please read and keep the following instructions for the ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70:

1. Do not use the device near water, in damp environments, or in the rain. Avoid spilling liquids on the device or placing objects containing liquids (such as vases) on top of it.

2. Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.

3. Do not block ventilation openings or install the device in a confined space. Ensure proper ventilation and install the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

4. Do not install the device near heat sources such as radiators, stoves, amplifiers, or other devices that produce heat. Do not cover the ventilation openings with items like newspapers or curtains.

5. Only use attachments, stands, or accessories specified by the manufacturer. When using equipment with wheels, exercise caution when moving to prevent tipping.

6. Protect the power cord from being walked on, pinched, or bent, especially at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the device.

7. Do not modify the plug’s polarization or grounding features. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, consult an electrician to replace the outlet.

8. Unplug the power cord during lightning storms or when not in use for long periods. To completely disconnect the device from the power supply, unplug it from the wall outlet and ensure the plug is easily accessible.

9. Do not place any open flame sources, such as lit candles, on the device.

10. Do not attempt to open the device. High voltage inside may cause electric shock or death. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. All servicing must be performed by qualified personnel.

11. The installation height of the device must not exceed 2 meters.

The control panel on the ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70 has the following functions:

Power Button: Press to power on/standby.

Source: Press to switch channels: eARC – HDMI IN – OPT (OPTICAL) – BT – USB.

Bluetooth: Press to switch to Bluetooth mode. The Soundbar will automatically enter pairing mode. Press and hold for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and pair with a new one manually from your smartphone, PC, or TV (Bluetooth ID: Skywave X70).

Volume Down (“-“): Decreases volume.

Volume Up (“+”): Increases volume.

The ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70 remote control features the following buttons and functions:

Power Button: Press to power on / standby.

SOURCE: Press to switch channels.

BT: Press to switch to BLUETOOTH channel.

Volume Up (+): Increase volume.

Volume Down (-): Decrease volume.

Previous: For BT and USB mode only: Skip to previous track.

Next: For BT and USB mode only: Skip to next track.

Play / Pause: For BT and USB mode only.

EQ Mode: Press to switch to EQ mode: Standard, Cinema, Music, Voice, Game, Night.

Xupmix: Controls the activation and deactivation of sound effect modes. (See specific Xupmix question for details).

BASS +/-: Press to adjust bass level.

Up-Firing Level: Press to adjust the sky unit volume.

Surround Level: Press to adjust surround sound level.

MUTE: Press to Mute. Press and hold the MUTE button for 5 seconds to restore factory settings.

The “Xupmix” button on the ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70 remote controls the activation and deactivation of 6 sound effect modes. The default setting is “on,” allowing for unified control.

Xupmix on: The surround channel sound will be provided by a rich multi-channel signal processed by the algorithm, offering a more immersive auditory experience.

Xupmix off: The surround channel sound will be optimized based on the left and right channel signals using an algorithm, resulting in a broader sound field effect.

To install the ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70 soundbar:

1. Align the joints of the three sections.

2. Twist them together until securely connected.

Caution: Make sure the soundbar is powered off during assembly.

The rear panel of the ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70 includes the following ports:

1. HDMI to TV (eARC)

2. OPTICAL

3. USB (Supports MP3 or FLAC files)

4. HDMI IN

5. DC IN

Place the soundbar at or near ear level for the best sound performance. The system placement diagram suggests placing the soundbar in front of the viewer under the TV, the subwoofer to the side, and the surround speakers behind the seating area.

Follow these steps to wall mount the ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70:

1. Attach the Wall-Mounting Guide to the wall to mark the correct drilling locations.

2. Install the left and right brackets first, then add the middle one if needed. Use the provided wall anchors and screws.

3. Ensure correct spacing: The distance between the outer brackets is 681.5mm / 26.83″.

4. When mounting the wall bracket to the soundbar, make sure the bracket is fixed in the correct direction as shown in the manual illustrations.

1. Power the Soundbar: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the soundbar and plug it into an outlet.

2. Power the Subwoofer: Connect the power cord to the subwoofer and plug it into an outlet.

3. Power the Surround Speakers: Connect the power adapters to the surround speakers and plug them into outlets.

4. Remote Control: Insert batteries into the remote. (Note: It is recommended to use disposable alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended).

Step 1: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the eARC / ARC port on the back of your TV.

Step 2: Connect the other end into the eARC port of the soundbar.

Step 3: Press the “Source” button on the remote control and select the “eARC” input.

Note: Make sure your TV HDMI supports eARC, otherwise the Dolby Atmos audio signal cannot be transmitted. If watching a movie in Dolby Atmos format, please set the audio output on your TV to Pass Through.

Settings Path: TV Settings > Home > Settings > Sound > Digital Audio Output > Pass Through.

DTS Note: If watching a movie in DTS format, set the audio output on your TV to PCM.

HDMI IN: A standard HDMI input that allows you to connect devices to your TV or audio system. It supports audio and video signals but does not support audio return channel (ARC) or enhanced audio return channel (eARC) functionality.

HDMI ARC: A special HDMI port that supports two-way communication between your TV and audio system. This means that audio can be sent from your TV to your audio system, and audio system can send audio back to your TV.

HDMI eARC: (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) is an updated version of HDMI ARC that supports higher quality audio formats such as Dolby Atmos.

Turn on the “CEC” function on your TV. When eARC / ARC is connected, your TV remote control can control the soundbar and TV simultaneously to turn on/standby and adjust the volume.

1. Make sure the TV’s port is OPTICAL OUT. Connect both sides of the cable to OPTICAL, for both the TV and the soundbar.

2. Make sure the optical plug is inserted correctly. Do not insert the plug upside down and break the optical port.

3. Select OPT input source on the Soundbar.

4. Set TV Settings: Home > Settings > Sound > Digital Audio Output > PCM.

Note: If audio is playing from the internal TV speakers, mute or minimize the TV volume. The optical port does not support Dolby Atmos; it only supports Dolby Digital Plus (7.1). For the best Dolby Atmos experience, use HDMI IN or HDMI eARC.

To connect devices like a TV Box, DVD Player, Amazon Fire TV Cube, or Game Console:

Step 1: Connect the HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the DVD player (or other external device) to the HDMI IN port on the Soundbar.

Step 2: Connect another HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT (eARC) port on the Soundbar to the HDMI eARC/ARC port on the TV. (Note: Your TV HDMI needs to support eARC to transmit the Dolby Atmos audio format to your Soundbar.)

Step 3: Press the “Source” button on the Soundbar or Remote Control to switch to the HDMI IN channel.

Settings: Set the Soundbar’s input mode to “HDMI IN.” Set the DVD player’s audio output format to “Bitstream” or “Auto.”

1. Plug the Chromecast or Fire TV Stick into the HDMI IN port on the ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70.

2. Use an HDMI cable to connect your TV’s HDMI eARC/ARC port to the Soundbar’s HDMI OUT (eARC) port.

3. Set your TV’s audio output to “External Speakers” or “HDMI (ARC/eARC)”.

4. Select “TV/eARC” as the input source on the Soundbar.

5. On your TV, switch the input/source to the HDMI port where the Chromecast or Fire TV Stick is connected.

1. Press the Bluetooth button on the soundbar or the remote control to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

2. Go to the Bluetooth setting on your phone, find and select “Skywave X70” to connect the soundbar.

3. If it is already in the Bluetooth mode and connected, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and choose to connect to a new device manually on your mobile phone / PC / TV.

Normally, the Soundbar and subwoofer are pre-paired. If the connection is lost, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the “Xupmix” button on the remote control for 5 seconds. The main unit display will flash “SUB” to indicate pairing mode.

2. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the subwoofer for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.

3. When pairing is successful, the main unit display will stop flashing and the subwoofer indicator light will remain steadily on.

Normally, the Soundbar and Surround are pre-paired. If the connection is lost, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the “Surround Level” button on the remote control for 5 seconds. The main unit display will flash “SUR” to indicate pairing mode.

2. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the Surround speaker for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.

3. When pairing is successful, the main unit display will stop flashing and the subwoofer indicator light will remain steadily on.

Press and hold the MUTE button on the remote control for 5 seconds to restore factory settings.

If you find the Soundbar’s prompt tone too loud, you can adjust its volume through the ULTIMEA App:

1. Scan the QR code in the manual to download the ULTIMEA App, then add your Soundbar to the app.

2. Open the Soundbar’s Device Details page, tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner, and select “Prompt Sound Volume”. Adjust the level as needed.

The mark shown on the product or its packaging indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household waste at the end of its working life.
