The first time you use your TURBRO HR1500, or after a long period of storage, it is normal to experience a “new smell.” This is caused by moisture that has been absorbed by the heating element and is similar to the smell of leather that has been stored for a long time. The smell is not harmful to your health or the heater. If you are sensitive to it, please open a window or door to help disperse the smell. You should let the heater run for at least 15 minutes to eliminate this initial odor.

To assemble your TURBRO HR1500, please follow these steps:

1. Unwrap the package.

2. Place the heater upside down on a soft, stable surface.

3. Attach the mobile caster wheels using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

4. Once the wheels are secure, place the unit in its upright position.

For safe operation, position your TURBRO HR1500 according to these guidelines:

• The heater must be positioned at least 1 foot (0.3m) away from any wall.

• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from all sides of the heater.

• Make sure there is at least 1 foot (0.9m) of open space above the heater.

• Always place the heater on a stable, flat, level surface to prevent it from overturning. The surface angle should be less than 10°.

1. Place the heater on a flat, stable, upright surface.

2. Plug the cord into a 120V outlet, ensuring the plug fits tightly.

3. Rotate the Power Selector knob to either ‘LO’ or ‘HI’. The heater will turn on and the Power Indicator will light up.

To use the Energy-Saving Mode:

• Switch on the heater by selecting a power level using the Power Selector knob:

– ‘LO’ = 1000W

– ‘HI’ = 1500W

• The thermostat will maintain the programmed temperature. Rotate the Thermostat Knob clockwise to your desired temperature. The further you rotate the knob, the longer the startup and shutdown cycle will be.

• In a cold room, you may need to rotate the thermostat knob further clockwise to start the heater.

• The heater will cycle ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ automatically to maintain the set temperature. To stop this cycling, rotate the Thermostat Knob clockwise to the MAX position.

• To turn the heater off, rotate the Power Selector back to ‘0’.

For continuous heating, follow these steps:

1. Switch on the heater by selecting the power level through the Power Selector (‘LO’ or ‘HI’).

2. Set the Thermostat Knob clockwise to the MAX position.

3. To switch off the heater, rotate the Power Selector back to ‘0’.

The Freeze Prevention feature is designed to prevent freezing with minimal energy consumption.

• To activate it, select the power level using the Power Selector and rotate the Thermostat Knob to the snowflake symbol (*).

• The heater will automatically turn on if the room temperature drops below 23°F (-5°C).

• It will automatically shut down when the temperature rises above 23°F (-5°C).

The TURBRO HR1500 is equipped with an overheat protection system. The heater will shut down automatically if it overheats. This can be caused by obstructions to the air intakes on the top or sides of the heater. If this occurs, unplug the heater from the power socket, allow it to cool for 15 minutes, and remove any obstructions around the unit.

Before cleaning, turn off the heater, switch off the power, and disconnect it from the power socket. Wait for the heater to cool completely.

• To maintain optimal performance, vacuum the air vents and grilles every 2 months to remove dust.

• To clean external surfaces, wipe the heater with a damp, lint-free cloth rinsed in hot, soapy water only.

• Never use abrasive or flammable solvents like alcohol, methane, or gasoline.

• Do not spray the heater with liquids or submerge it in water.

• Do not attempt to open the heater casing or clean the interior of the heater.

When the TURBRO HR1500 is not in use, unplug the appliance. The power cable can be wrapped around the plastic spool on the front panel. Store your heater in a cool, dry location.

If your TURBRO HR1500 fails to operate, first disconnect the power before servicing. Then, check the following:

• Make sure the electrical outlet and circuit breaker are working.

• Check for any obstructions. If you find one, turn OFF and UNPLUG the heater. Remove the obstruction and follow the reset instructions (unplug, cool for 15 minutes, remove obstruction, plug back in).

• Check the settings on the Power Selector and Thermostat Knob.
