What are the primary safety instructions for this luminaire?
For your own safety, read all instructions and mounting steps carefully. Keep the instructions for maintenance or disassembly work.
The electrical connection shall only be carried out by professional personnel trained and authorised for this purpose.
WARNING – risk of electric shock!
Never work on the luminaire with voltage applied.
Can the LED light source be replaced?
The light source (LED module) of this luminaire cannot be replaced.
When the light source has reached the end of its service life, replace the entire luminaire.
LED module: risk group 1.
Power supply for brightness control if existing must comply with SELV requirements.
What are the important instructions regarding electronic control gear units (ECG)?
A neutral conductor interruption in the three-phase circuit leads to overvoltage damage in the lighting system. Only open the neutral conductor isolating terminal in de-energized state, and close the neutral conductor isolating terminal before switching on again.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible ambient temperature ta of the luminaire. Exceeding this limit reduces the service life and in extreme cases there is a risk of premature failure of the luminaire.
Lay out the connection cables for the control inputs of dimmable ECGs (1-10 V, DALI etc.) 230 V mains voltage-proof (basic insulation).
What is the intended use of this luminaire?
Intended for indoor rooms with an ambient temperature of: ta 40°C.
Safety class: II.
SncPoint 905 C01 BR-FL LED 700-8.. Safety class: III.
Protection rating: IP20.
The light fitting is suitable for mounting on normally inflammable surfaces.
The luminaire is not suited for further wiring.
How should this product be disposed of at the end of its life?
Always collect and dispose of old electrical and electronic equipment separately at the end of its service life. In case of doubt, seek information about environmentally-compliant waste disposal from your local district authority or special waste disposal companies.

What electrical connection accessories are available and how are they used?
The following accessories are available for electrical connection:
| Type | TOC |
|---|---|
| Snc ZMA 3-f 700mA | 60 464 00 |
| Snc ZVBL 1,5M 700mA | 60 465 00 |
| Snc ZVBL 3,0M 700mA | 60 466 00 |
Example 1 Connection:
An electronic control gear (EVG) connects to a Snc ZMA 3-f 700mA splitter cable. This splitter then connects to up to three Snc ZVBL 1,5M 700mA luminaire connection cables. The maximum distance between the first and last luminaire using this setup is 1500 mm.
Example 2 Connection:
An electronic control gear (EVG) connects to a Snc ZMA 3-f 700mA splitter cable, which then connects to a Snc ZVBL 3,0M 700mA luminaire connection cable. The maximum distance for this setup is 6000 mm.
What are the minimum safety clearances required for installation?
The following minimum safety clearances must be observed:
Minimum distance from side walls or other luminaires: 50 mm.
Minimum distance between luminaires in a row: 240 mm.
Minimum clearance height above the ceiling: 170 mm.
Minimum distance from objects directly in front of the luminaire: 20 mm.
Minimum distance from objects below the luminaire: 50 mm.
How is the electrical connection performed for different models?
For SncPoint 905 C01 … ET and SncPoint 905 C02 … ET Models:
1. Strip the outer insulation of the mains cable by approximately 8.5 mm and the inner wires by approximately 10 mm.
2. Open the terminal cover on the electronic control gear.
3. Insert the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires into the corresponding push-in terminals.
4. Close the terminal cover securely until it clicks into place.
For SncPoint 905 C02 … ETDD Models (DALI):
1. Strip the outer insulation of the mains cable by approximately 8.5 mm and the inner wires by approximately 10 mm.
2. Open the terminal cover on the electronic control gear.
3. Insert the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires into the corresponding push-in terminals. Insert the DALI control wires into the DA/DA terminals.
4. Close the terminal cover securely.
For Snc ZVE LED 28W 500mA ET Models:
1. Strip the ends of the supply wires by approximately 10 mm.
2. Open the levers on the push-in terminal connector.
3. Insert the wires fully into the terminals.
4. Close the levers to secure the wires.
For Snc ZVE LED 20W 500mA ETDD Models (DALI):
1. Strip the outer insulation of the mains cable by approximately 8.5 mm and the inner wires by approximately 10 mm.
2. Unscrew and remove the strain relief and terminal cover.
3. Insert the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires into the corresponding screw terminals. Insert the DALI control wires into the DA1 and DA2 screw terminals.
4. Re-attach and screw down the terminal cover and strain relief.
How is the luminaire mounted into a ceiling?
1. After making the electrical connection, bend the two mounting springs upwards.
2. Push the luminaire up through the prepared ceiling cutout. The springs will automatically fold out above the ceiling, securing the luminaire in place.
How is the luminaire disassembled and what precautions should be taken?
1. Gently pull the luminaire down and away from the ceiling surface.
2. As you pull it out, manually press the two mounting springs inward to allow the luminaire to pass through the ceiling cutout.
Warning: Observe the position of the springs when disassembling. Note, risk of trapping!
