Please observe the following safety precautions:

The printer weighs approximately 17 kg (37.5 lb). Take care when lifting and moving the unit to avoid injury.

Be aware of moving parts inside the printer to prevent pinching injuries.

The print head can become very hot during and after operation. Avoid touching it to prevent burns.

1. Download the printer driver software package. The file name will be similar to “TPCL-drv_xxxx.exe”.

2. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation wizard. You may need to agree to the terms and approve security prompts.

4. After the driver installation is complete, connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable and connect the power cord.

5. Turn the printer on.

6. On your computer, open “Printers & scanners” from your system settings.

7. Select the option to add a printer. Your computer should detect and add the Toshiba printer.

1. Open the printer’s side cover.

2. Lift the blue lever to open the print head mechanism.

3. Place the label roll onto the media holder. Adjust the guides to fit the width of the roll.

4. Place the media holder with the labels into the printer.

5. Feed the end of the label strip under the guides and through the print mechanism.

6. Adjust the position of the media sensor to align with the labels.

7. Push the print head mechanism down until it locks into place.

8. Lower the blue lever marked “OFREE” to secure the print head.

9. Close the printer’s side cover.

10. Tear off the excess labels that have fed through.

1. Open the side cover and lift the print head mechanism.

2. Lift the blue lever marked “OFREE”.

3. Place the new ribbon roll onto the rear (supply) spindle.

4. Place an empty cardboard core onto the front (take-up) spindle.

5. Pull the ribbon from the supply roll, guide it down and under the print head assembly, and then up to the take-up core. Ensure the correct side of the ribbon will make contact with the labels.

6. Secure the end of the ribbon to the empty take-up core.

7. Turn the take-up spindle to tighten the ribbon and remove any slack or wrinkles.

8. Push the print head mechanism down until it locks into place.

9. Lower the blue lever marked “OFREE”.

10. Close the printer’s side cover.

1. Open the printer cover and lift the print head mechanism to access the print head.

2. Using a proper cleaning pen or swab, gently wipe across the print head surface to remove any residue.

3. Allow the print head to air dry before closing the mechanism.

Caution: The print head may be hot. Allow it to cool down before attempting to clean it.
