How to set the time on your watch?

Unscrew crown all the way out and turn to correct time. Push crown in to restart.

For watches with date, note the correct time of day (A.M. or P.M.) for proper date function.

How to set the fast date on your watch?

Using the 3-Position Crown, unscrew crown until you reach position “2” and turn counterclockwise until the correct date appears.

Note: Date may need to be manually updated at the end of each month by following the above procedure (otherwise it will continue to 31 and then roll over to 01 each month).

How to wind your watch?

Turn crown in position 1 to begin winding clockwise.

How does the power reserve work and when should I wind my watch?

The watch is self-winding. If you wear your watch every day, there should be no need to wind it every 24 hours, unless the power reserve shows “LOW”.

The maximum power reserve is at least 36 hours. The power reserve indicator shows you how much power remains. You should wind your watch when the indicator hand is near “LOW”.

How to adjust a sliding clasp bracelet?

Open the locking plate. Move the clasp to the desired bracelet length. Exert pressure while holding the locking plate and slide the clasp back and forth until it engages in grooves on the underside of the bracelet. Press the locking plate down until it snaps closed. The clasp can be damaged if excessive force is used.

How to adjust a foldover clasp bracelet?

Find the spring bar that connects the bracelet to the clasp. Using a pointed tool, push the spring bar in and gently twist the bracelet to disengage. Determine your wrist size, then insert the spring bar in the correct bottom hole. Push down on the spring bar, align with the top hole, and release to lock in place.

How to remove and reassemble links on a standard bracelet?

To remove links:

Place the bracelet upright and insert a pointed tool in the opening of the link. Push the pin forcefully in the direction of the arrow until the link is detached (pins are designed to be difficult to remove). Repeat until the desired number of links are removed.

To reassemble links:

Rejoin the bracelet parts. Push the pin back into the link in the opposite direction of the arrow. Press the pin down securely into the bracelet until it is flush.

How to remove and reassemble links on a solid link bracelet?

To remove links:

Using a very small screwdriver, remove screws by turning counterclockwise. Repeat until the desired number of links are removed. Do not remove links adjacent to the clasp.

To reassemble links:

Rejoin the bracelet parts and insert the screw in the end of the opening where it was removed. Turn the screw clockwise until tight and flush with the bracelet.

What are the water and shock resistance guidelines for your watch?

The watch is water-resistant only as long as the crystal, crown, and case remain intact.

The watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.

The screw-in setting crown and case back must be screwed into the case to assure water-resistance.

Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.

Shock-resistance will be indicated on the watch face or caseback. Watches are designed to pass ISO test for shock-resistance. However, avoid damaging the crystal/lens.

If your watch is water-resistant, meter marking or a specific symbol is indicated. The water resistance depth and corresponding water pressure are as follows:

Water-Resistance Depth p.s.i.a.* Water Pressure Below Surface
50m/164ft 86
100m/328ft 160
200m/656ft 284

*pounds per square inch absolute
