The THERMEX WINEMEX 30 is intended for household use for storing wine and is suitable for use in homes, shops, offices, and similar environments. It is not intended for outdoor use.

Usage Guidelines:

• Do not use the device for other purposes, such as storing medicines, blood plasma, or laboratory preparations.

• Do not use the device in areas where there is a risk of explosion.

• The wine refrigerator is designed for a specific climate class (room temperature range), which must be strictly adhered to. The climate class is shown on the type plate inside the unit.

• Ensure ventilation openings are not covered to prevent increased energy consumption and component damage.

• If storing fatty or oily foods, ensure no fat or oil comes into contact with the plastic parts of the refrigerator to prevent stress cracks.

Always transport the THERMEX WINEMEX 30 in an upright position and in its original transport packaging to avoid transport damage. The unit is very heavy and must be transported by two people.

Coolant splashes can damage the eyes. In case of damage to the cooling circuit, follow these steps:

1. Avoid open flames or anything that creates a spark.

2. Disconnect the device from the mains supply.

3. Ventilate the room where the unit is located for several minutes.

Step 1: Prepare the Cabinet

Prepare the cabinet for the THERMEX WINEMEX 30. Start by removing any existing door. Ensure that the cabinet complies with the minimum dimensions for installing the unit: greater than 550mm in depth, greater than 666mm in height, and between 562-570mm in width.

Step 2: Ensure Proper Ventilation

The THERMEX WINEMEX 30 must have access to fresh air to function properly. Make sure the bottom of the cabinet is vented. There must be an opening of at least 20 cm². If necessary, install a grate in the plinth of the installation to ensure sufficient air circulation. It is also recommended to create three holes of Ø50mm each for ventilation.

Step 3: Electrical Installation

Carry out the electrical installation of the THERMEX WINEMEX 30 according to applicable building regulations. Read the device’s nameplate and make sure the specifications match the household’s power supply.

Step 4: Insert and Secure the Unit

Carefully insert the THERMEX WINEMEX 30 into the prepared cabinet. Do not hit or push the device unnecessarily hard. Be sure that the unit is standing straight and that the door can open without obstruction. Use the supplied screws to fix the unit as shown in the installation diagrams. The installation is now complete.

It is recommended that a water tray be installed under the unit to protect against condensation.

1. Remove the screws holding the top plate and remove the top plate temporarily. The screws must be reused for reassembly.

2. Unscrew the protective frame from the device. The screws must be reused for reassembly.

3. Temporarily remove the protective bezel from the device. The brackets that hold the door in place are now accessible.

4. Remove the screws on the brackets that hold the door. Make sure the door does not fall. Remove the brackets.

5. Remove the plugs on the door where the new brackets will sit. Install the new brackets that come with the THERMEX WINEMEX 30 using the screws from the other brackets. Fine-tune the fittings so that the door is horizontal and opens/closes without difficulty.

6. Refit the protective frame and screw it in place.

7. Refit the top plate and screw it in place. The door is now turned and the assembly is complete.

Power On/Off: Press the power icon for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.

Light On/Off: Press the lightbulb icon to turn the light on or off. For version 2 models, press for 5 seconds to activate the door sensor light, which will turn the light on automatically when the door is opened.

Lock/Unlock: To lock or unlock the device controls, press the power icon and the lightbulb icon simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Set Temperature:

1. Press the zone selection icon (a square) to select the cooling zone you wish to set.

2. The display shows two numbers. The first (left) number is for the upper cooling zone, and the second (right) number is for the lower cooling zone.

3. After a cooling zone has been selected, the temperature can be set with the “+” and “-” buttons.

Temperature Unit (°C/°F): To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, press the °C/°F icon for 3 seconds.

All wines mature at a constant temperature set between 12°C and 14°C. The chart below is a guide for the best temperature for drinking purposes:

• Champagne NV, Sparkling, Spumante: 6°C

• Dry white semillon, Sauvignon Blanc: 8°C

• Champagne Vintage: 10°C

• Dry white Chardonnay: 10°C

• Dry white Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot grigio: 10°C

• Sweet white Sauternes, Barsac, Montbazillac, Ice wine: 10°C

• Beaujolais: 13°C

• Sweet White Vintage: Sauternes: 14°C

• White vintage Chardonnay: 14°C

• Red Pinot Noir: 16°C

• Red Grenache, Syrah: 16°C

• Red vintage Pinot Noir: 18°C

• Cabernet & Merlot (French, Australian, New Zealand, Chilean, etc.): 20°C

• Vintage Bordeaux: Room temperature, not above 20°C

As long as the temperature of your wine cooler is constant (between 12°C to 14°C), wines will be stored in perfect conditions.

The THERMEX WINEMEX 30 can store bottles of max. 315 mm on the shelves. At the bottom, you can store max. 320 mm bottles.

Always disconnect the power before cleaning. The unit must be cleaned regularly to ensure optimal operation and longevity. It should be cleaned both externally and internally.

• Never use oily or greasy cleaners on the unit’s rubber strips, as this can cause the moldings to dry out and crack.

• Never use oily or greasy cleaners on the interior wooden strips, as it can cause discoloration.

• Never use steam cleaners or similar hot cleaning devices on the unit.

• Never use sharp or pointed tools to clean the device, as these can damage the unit’s cooling elements.

• Lacquered surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth with washing-up liquid. Never use abrasives.

• It is recommended to use a special cleaning agent to clean the glass plate and the control panel.

Before requesting service, try the following steps:

1. Disconnect the power supply to the product for approximately 5 minutes.

2. Reconnect the power to see if the problem is resolved.

3. If the error is not resolved, disconnect the power supply to the product for one hour.

4. If the product still does not work properly and the points in the troubleshooting guide have been reviewed, contact the service department.

Packaging: The packaging must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations on waste management.

Product Scrapping: The symbol on the product or accompanying documentation indicates that this product may not be disposed of as household waste. It must be delivered to the nearest collection center for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
