Labels for the TV Model No. and Power Supply rating are located on the rear of the TV.

Before transporting the TV set, disconnect all cables.

Two or more people are needed to transport a large TV set.

When transporting the TV set by hand, hold it as shown in the provided diagrams. Do not put stress on the LCD panel and the frame around the screen.

When lifting or moving the TV set, hold it firmly from the bottom.

When transporting the TV set, do not subject it to jolts or excessive vibration.

When transporting the TV set for repairs or when moving, pack it using the original carton and packing material.

To avoid any risk of fire, electric shock, or damage, please follow these installation instructions:

The TV set should be installed near an easily accessible AC power outlet (mains socket).

Place the TV set on a stable, level surface to prevent it from falling over and causing personal injury or property damage.

Install the TV where it cannot be pulled, pushed, or knocked over.

Install the TV so that the TV’s Table-Top Stand does not protrude out from the TV stand (not supplied). If the Table-Top Stand protrudes out from the TV stand, it may cause the TV set to topple over, fall down, and cause personal injury or damage to the TV.

The remote control functions are as follows:

1. (Microphone) / (Google Assistant): Use Google Assistant or voice search. Press the microphone button and say “voice hints” for tips on how to control your TV.

Directional buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right) / Enter: On-screen menu navigation and selection.

TV: Display TV channel list or switch to input.

2. (Power): Turns the TV on or off.

Number buttons / (dot): For channel selection and input.

(Text): Display text information.

3. YouTube / NETFLIX / YouTube Music / Prime Video / Colour buttons: Quick access to streaming services and related functions.

4. GUIDE/: Display the digital programme guide of the TV or TV box.

APPS: Displays applications.

(Input select): Display and select the input source.

(Quick settings): Display Quick Settings.

BACK: Returns to the previous screen.

HOME: Displays the TV’s Home menu.

5. +/- (Volume): Adjusts the volume.

(Jump): Jumps between two channels or inputs.

(Mute): Mutes the sound. Press and hold to turn on/off Accessibility shortcut.

CH +/- / Page Up/Down: Select the channel, or next/previous page.

6. AUDIO: Select the sound of a multilingual source or dual sound.

(Subtitle setting): Turns subtitles on or off.

HELP: Display the Help menu.

Playback Controls (Play/Pause/Stop/Rewind/Fast Forward): Control media playback.

EXIT: Exits the current menu or application.

(Info/Text reveal): Display information.

For product protection and safety, Sony strongly recommends that the installation of your TV be performed by Sony dealers or licensed contractors. Do not attempt to install it yourself.

Instructions for Dealers and Contractors:

Provide full attention to safety during the installation, periodic maintenance, and examination of this product.

Installation Steps and Safety:

Use the optional Wall-Mount Bracket SU-WL850 or SU-WL450 (not supplied).

Follow the instruction guide provided with the Wall-Mount Bracket for your model. Sufficient expertise is required, especially to determine the strength of the wall to withstand the TV’s weight.

Only qualified service personnel should carry out wall-mount installations.

For safety, it is strongly recommended that you use Sony accessories, including the specified Wall-Mount Brackets.

Be sure to use the screws supplied with the Wall-Mount Bracket when attaching it to the TV set. The supplied screws are designed to be 10 mm – 12 mm in length when measured from the attaching surface of the Wall-Mount Bracket.

The diameter and length of the screws differ depending on the Wall-Mount Bracket model. Using other screws may result in internal damage to the TV or cause it to fall.

Be sure to store the unused screws and Table-Top Stand in a safe place away from small children until you are ready to attach the Table-Top Stand.

For issues like a black screen, no sound, a frozen picture, the TV not responding, or network loss, follow these steps:

1. Restart your TV by pressing the power button on the remote control for about five seconds. The TV will restart. If the TV does not recover, unplug the AC power cord (mains lead), then press the power button on the TV and release it. Wait for two minutes, and plug in the AC power cord.

Alternatively, press the power button on the TV for about 40 seconds until the TV turns off.

2. Refer to the Help menu by pressing HELP on the remote control.

3. Connect your TV to the Internet and perform a software update. Sony recommends keeping your TV software updated for new features and performance improvements.

When you plug in the TV, it may not be able to turn on for a while even if you press the power button on the remote control or the TV. It takes time to initialize the system. Wait for about one minute, then try operating it again.

Replace the batteries.

Enter 9999 for the PIN and then enter the new PIN.

Any functions related to Digital TV (DVB) will only work in countries or areas where DVB-T/DVB-T2 (MPEG-2 and H.264/MPEG-4 AVC) digital terrestrial signals are broadcast. Please confirm with your local dealer if you can receive a DVB-T/DVB-T2 signal where you live.

This TV set complies with DVB-T/DVB-T2 specifications, but compatibility with future DVB-T/DVB-T2 digital terrestrial broadcasts are not guaranteed.

Some Digital TV functions may not be available in some countries/areas.
