The SHURE MV6 features several advanced DSP technologies designed to provide professional sound right out of the box:

Auto Level Mode: The SHURE MV6 intelligently adjusts microphone gain in real-time based on your distance from the microphone and volume level for consistent sound at all times.

Digital Popper Stopper: This technology effectively eliminates harsh plosive sounds, delivering clear, distraction-free audio without the need for a physical pop filter.

Real-time Denoiser: This intelligent technology removes unwanted background noise, such as humming fans or air conditioners, to ensure only your voice is captured.

Voice Isolation Technology: The combination of a dynamic capsule and cardioid pickup pattern ensures the microphone does not capture unwanted background or room noise.

Tap-to-mute Button: Offers immediate control, allowing you to mute your SHURE MV6 instantly whenever you need a moment of silence.

Step 1. Plug the included USB-C cable into your SHURE MV6.

Step 2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to your compatible laptop, phone, or tablet.

Step 3. Plug your headphones into the 3.5 mm monitor output on the microphone for real-time monitoring.

The LED panel on the SHURE MV6 will pulse when the connection is made.

Step 1. Use the USB-C cable to plug the SHURE MV6 into your computer.

Step 2. Download and open the MOTIV Mix application. Your computer may request permission to use the external device the first time the app is opened.

Step 3. Select your microphone from the Sources panel within the app.

Step 4. Access customized controls for your SHURE MV6 via the settings gear icon in MOTIV Mix.

3.5 mm monitor output: Connect to headphones and earphones for latency-free monitoring.

USB-C: Use the included USB-C cable to connect the SHURE MV6 to your computer, phone, or tablet for audio output and configuration.

The MOTIV Mix app allows you to customize the following settings for the SHURE MV6:

Mute/Unmute: Mute and unmute the microphone via the app or by touching the physical mute button on the device.

Mute Lock: Select the lock icon to lock the microphone’s mute status. While locked, the microphone will remain muted or unmuted. If touched while locked, the mute button flashes red three times. This setting does not persist through a power cycle.

Gain: Use Auto-level mode for automatic gain adjustment or switch to Manual mode to use a slider for full control over the microphone gain.

Monitor Mix: Move the sliders to adjust the balance between the microphone and computer sound sources in your connected headphones.

Tone: Adjust the tone of the SHURE MV6 between Dark, Natural, and Bright by moving the slider.

High Pass Filter: Reduce unwanted low-frequency rumbling noise with a high pass filter set at 75 Hz or 150 Hz.

Reset to Defaults: Select this option to reset your device to factory settings, which removes all changes you have made.

Step 1. Connect your SHURE MV6 to your computer or mobile device.

Step 2. Open the MOTIV Mix desktop app or the MOTIV mobile apps for iOS or Android.

Step 3. If a firmware update is available, a “Firmware Update Available” button will appear in the settings panel of your SHURE MV6.

Step 4. Select the button to begin the update. Ensure the equipment remains connected during the entire update process to avoid issues.
