4. Press the CLOCK pad again to confirm. The time is now set.

If you make a mistake while entering the time, press the STOP/CLEAR pad and re-enter the numbers.

To cook with microwave power on your SHARP R-930AK, please follow this procedure:

2. Press the POWER LEVEL pad. The display will show “P100” for 100% power.

4. Press the START/1 MIN + pad to begin cooking. The cooking light will come on and the turntable will rotate.

You can also use the 1 MINUTE + feature for express cooking at 100% power. Simply press the START/1 MIN + pad to start cooking for 1 minute. Each subsequent press will add another minute to the cooking time.

The SHARP R-930AK offers 10 different microwave power levels for precise cooking. You can select the power level by pressing the POWER LEVEL pad repeatedly.

Grill cooking is useful for thin slices of meat, steaks, chops, kebabs, sausages, and pieces of chicken. It is also suitable for hot sandwiches and au gratin dishes. Always use the high or low rack for grilling.

To use the Grill function on your SHARP R-930AK:

1. Press the GRILL pad once.

2. Use the number pads to enter the desired grilling time. The maximum time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.

3. Press the START/1 MIN + pad to begin grilling.

During convection cooking, hot air is circulated throughout the oven cavity to make crisp foods quickly and evenly. The SHARP R-930AK has ten different cooking temperatures from 110°C to 200°C. For best results, it is recommended to preheat the oven.

To Preheat and Cook with Convection:

1. Press the CONVECTION pad once. The display will show “110C”.

2. Press the CONVECTION pad repeatedly to select the desired temperature (110°C, 120°C, 130°C, 140°C, 150°C, 160°C, 170°C, 180°C, 190°C, 200°C).

3. Press the START/1 MIN + pad to start preheating. The temperature will flash on the display until the preheating temperature is reached. When it’s reached, the oven will beep.

4. Open the door, place the container of food on the turntable, and close the door.

5. Use the number pads to enter the desired cooking time.

6. Press the START/1 MIN + pad to begin cooking.

To Cook without Preheating:

1. Place your food in the oven.

2. Press the CONVECTION pad repeatedly to select the desired temperature.

3. Use the number pads to enter the cooking time.

4. Press the START/1 MIN + pad to begin cooking.

The SHARP R-930AK offers two Mix Grill combination settings that combine microwave and grill power. This is ideal for gratin, omelettes, baked potatoes, and poultry. Always use the provided metal racks.

To cook with Mix Grill:

1. Press the MIX GRILL pad once for C-1 or twice for C-2.

2. Use the number pads to enter the desired cooking time.

3. Press the START/1 MIN + pad to begin cooking.

The SHARP R-930AK has four Mix Convection settings that combine microwave energy with convection heat. This method is suitable for all types of meat and poultry, allowing you to roast them to perfection. Always use the high or low rack.

To cook with Mix Convection:

1. Press the MIX CONVECTION pad repeatedly to select the desired combination setting (C-5, C-6, C-7, or C-8).

2. Press the CONVECTION pad repeatedly to select the desired cooking temperature.

3. Use the number pads to enter the cooking time.

4. Press the START/1 MIN + pad to begin cooking.

The Weight Defrost (dEF1) feature on your SHARP R-930AK automatically sets the defrosting time and power level once you program the weight of the food.

2. Press the WEIGHT DEFROST pad once. The display will show “dEF1”.

• The oven cavity and food container should be dry.

• The food should be at room temperature.

• Do not open the door or press the STOP/CLEAR pad while the sensor is detecting steam, as this will cancel the process.

• Food should be covered with a lid or vented plastic wrap. Never use tight-sealing plastic covers, as this prevents steam from escaping.

To use the Sensor Cook menus, simply select the appropriate food category and press start. The oven will do the rest.

For example, to cook a baked potato:

1. Press the SENSOR COOK-BAKED POTATO pad once.

2. Press the START/1 MIN + pad.

The Child Lock feature prevents unsupervised operation of the SHARP R-930AK by children.

To set the Child Lock:

Press and hold the STOP/CLEAR pad for 3 seconds. A beep will sound and the lock indicator will light up on the display. In the locked state, all pads are disabled.

To cancel the Child Lock:

Press and hold the STOP/CLEAR pad for 3 seconds until the lock indicator on the display goes off.

The SHARP R-930AK has a kitchen timer that can be used independently, even while a cooking program is running.

1. Press the KITCHEN TIMER pad once.

• To check the clock time during cooking, press the CLOCK pad.

• To check the power level during microwave or combination cooking, press the POWER LEVEL pad.

• To check the temperature during convection or combination cooking, press the CONVECTION pad.

Microwave Only Mode:

• The metal racks (High and Low) supplied with the oven can and should be used.

• Metal baking tins and ovenproof dishes can be used.

• Do NOT use any plastic cookware, paper products, or cookware that is not heat-resistant, as it may melt or burn.

Always place cookware on the glass turntable. For grilling or combination cooking, place the food on the high or low rack, which should then be placed on the glass turntable.

To keep your SHARP R-930AK in good condition, it is important to clean it regularly. Always unplug the oven before cleaning.

Exterior:

The outside surface is precoated steel and plastic. Clean the outside with mild soap and water, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any type of household or abrasive cleaner.

Door:

Wipe the window on both sides, the door seals, and adjacent parts frequently with a damp cloth to remove any spills or splatters. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass.

Control Panel:

If the control panel becomes dirty, open the oven door before cleaning. Use a cloth dampened with water only. Rub until the panel is clean, then wipe dry. Do not scrub or use any sort of chemical cleaners.

Interior:

For easy cleaning, wipe any splatters or spills with a soft damp cloth or sponge after each use while the oven is still warm. For heavier spills, use a mild soap and wipe several times with a damp cloth until all residues are removed. Do not remove the waveguide cover.

Turntable and Roller Rest:

The turntable and roller rest can be removed for easy cleaning. Wash them in mild, sudsy water. For stubborn stains, use a mild cleanser and a non-abrasive scouring sponge.

If your SHARP R-930AK is not working, please perform these simple checks before calling for service:

1. Make sure the oven is plugged in securely. If it is not, remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds, and plug it in again securely.

2. Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker in your home. If these seem to be operating properly, test the outlet with another appliance.
