Before carrying out maintenance, read and observe the operating instructions and safety instructions.

What should I check after any repair or maintenance work?

After any repair or maintenance work, make sure that all safety-related parts are in place and in perfect condition. All parts which may cause injury must be kept where they are inaccessible to children or others.

Who should perform repairs on the equipment?

According to the German Product Liability Act, no liability is accepted for damage caused by improper repairs or by not using original spare parts. Such work should be performed by a customer service centre or an authorised specialist. The same applies to accessory parts.

How do I adjust the laser?

1. Make sure that the bench drill is switched off.

2. Remove the six Phillips screws from the right half of the housing and pull off the housing cover.

3. By loosening the hexagon socket screws (a and b), both lasers can be turned and adjusted in the holder.

4. The laser is correctly adjusted when the intersection of the two laser lines indicates exactly the centre of the drill.

5. When the laser is correctly adjusted, tighten the hexagon socket screw to fix the adjustment.

6. Assemble the housing by inserting the six Phillips screws and tighten them.

What are the safety warnings for the laser?

Attention: Laser radiation. Do not stare into the beam. Class 2 laser.
