To ensure safe operation of your ROCKVILLE RPB27, please follow these instructions:

• To reduce risk of electric shock, never open the unit. There are no user serviceable parts, refer service to an authorized Rockville service center.

• Do not expose this unit to any kind of moisture.

• Please ensure that the unit is situated in a properly ventilated area.

• Make sure the unit is placed on a level and stable surface.

The functions of the ROCKVILLE RPB27 are as follows:

1. LED indicator: Shows the status of the speaker (pairing, charging, etc.).

2. Power On/Off: Turns the speaker on and off.

3. Next/Volume +: Short press to skip to the next track. Press and hold to increase the volume.

4. Play/Pause/Hands free calling: Press to play or pause music. Also used to answer, end, or decline phone calls.

5. Previous/Volume -: Short press to go to the previous track. Press and hold to decrease the volume.

6. Micro USB charging port: Port for charging the speaker.

7. 3.5mm Aux input: Port for connecting a non-Bluetooth device using a 3.5mm cable.

1. Press the power button for 5 seconds to enter Bluetooth mode. Once in Bluetooth mode, the LED indicator will be blue and blink rapidly.

2. Ensure your device is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable.

3. Under the list of available devices, search for and select RPB27.

4. If a pairing code is requested, please use “0000” or “1234”.

5. The LED indicator will blink slowly when the unit is successfully paired.

6. To unpair from the current device and re-enter pairing mode, press the power button for 5 seconds.

1. Press the -/+ buttons at the top of the unit to navigate through tracks.

2. Press and hold the -/+ buttons for 5 seconds to raise or lower the volume.

1. To answer an incoming call, press the PLAY button.

2. To end a call, press the PLAY button.

3. To decline an incoming call, press the PLAY button for 5 seconds.

1. Plug a 3.5mm jack into the Aux input port. The unit will automatically switch to AUX input.

2. Please note that volume cannot be controlled from the speaker unit while it is in AUX mode. You will need to control the volume from your connected device.

1. To charge the RPB27, plug the included micro USB cable into the charging port on the right side of the unit.

2. While charging, the LED indicator will be red. Once fully charged, the LED indicator will turn off.

3. The charge time is approximately 4-5 hours.

If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, you are encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
