How do I adjust the air power and depth of drive on my RIDGID R09890?

The amount of air power and drive depth required will depend on the size of the nail and the workpiece material. Always begin by testing the depth of drive on a scrap piece of the same material.

Setting the Air Power:

1. Remove the battery pack from the tool.

2. Move the power adjustment lever to the right to increase air power or to the left to decrease air power.

Depth of Drive Adjustment:

If finer adjustments are needed beyond the air power setting, use the depth of drive adjustment. Harder materials and longer nails will require more force.

2. Turn the depth of drive adjustment dial left or right to change the driving depth.

3. Reinstall the battery and activate the tool by pressing the worklight grip switch.
