What are the basic hardware buttons and their functions?

The basic functions of the hardware buttons are as follows:

MODE button: Press to switch between the Application screen and the AV operation screen.

VOL (+/-) button: Press to adjust the AV (Audio and Video) source volume.

MAP button: Press to display the Map screen.

HOME button: Press to display the Top menu screen.

TRK button: This button is for track functions.

Eject button: Press to remove the detachable faceplate from this product.


How can I switch screens using the touch panel keys?

You can switch between different screens by touching the icons on the display.

From the main menu screen, you can touch:

NAVI to display the navigation map screen.

AV to display the audio/video operation screen.

APPS to display the application screen.

From other screens like the APPS or NAVI screen, you can touch the corresponding AV, NAVI, or APPS icons to switch to those screens.


How can I switch screens using the hardware buttons?

You can use the physical hardware buttons to switch screens:

• Press the MAP button to display the NAVI (Map) screen.

• Press the MODE button to switch between the APPS (Application) screen and the AV (Audio/Video) screen.


What are the functions available on the navigation menu screen?

The navigation menu provides the following functions:

1. Returns to the Map screen.

2. Searches for your destination by entering an address, its coordinate, or selecting a place of interest, etc.

3. Builds your route using the list of destinations.

4. Displays useful information to support your driving.

5. Configures the programme settings.

6. Sees notifications that contain important information for the users.

7. Displays the “Driver Profiles” screen where you can create new profiles or edit the existing profiles.

8. Mutes the sound of the navigation system (the voice guidance, or beep sounds, for example).

9. Switches among 2D, 3D, or 2D North up view modes.

10. Displays the location where you saved as a favourite.

11. Displays the information of your navigation system (the version information, or licences, for example).


How do I search for a location by address?

1. Press the MAP button. The Map screen appears.

2. Touch the menu icon to display the navigation menu on the Map screen.

3. Touch [New Route].

4. Touch [Address]. The “Find Address” screen appears.

5. Touch [Country], and select the country.

6. Touch [Town], and select the city/town.

7. Touch [Street], and select the street.

8. Touch [House Number / Intersection], and select the house number or the crossing street. After you touch the selected address to finish the address search, the searched location appears on the Map screen.

9. Touch [Select as Destination]. After a short summary of the route parameters, a map appears showing the entire route. The route is automatically calculated.

10. Touch [Start Navigation]. Your navigation system starts the route guidance.


How do I use the map screen and understand the displayed information?

The map screen provides various pieces of information. Information with an asterisk (*) appears only when a route is set.

① Shows the number and name of the street to be used (or next guidance point).*

② Shows the next guidance point (manoeuvre).*

③ Shows the distance to the next guidance point (manoeuvre).*

④ Shows the second manoeuvre arrow.*

⑤ Indicates the current location of your vehicle.

⑥ Displays the following information:*

• The estimated time of the arrival at the destination

• The remaining time of the trip

• The remaining distance to the destination

⑦ Shows the name of the street (or city) that your vehicle is travelling on (or in).

⑧ Indicates the current route.*

⑨ Displays the Navigation menu screen.

⑩ Indicates the progress to the final destination.*


How do I pair my Bluetooth® devices?

1. Activate the Bluetooth wireless technology on your devices.

2. Press the HOME button to display the Top menu screen.

3. Touch the Phone/Settings icon, then the Bluetooth icon. The “Bluetooth” screen appears.

4. Touch [Connection].

5. Touch the search icon. The system searches for Bluetooth devices waiting for a connection and displays them in the list if a device is found.

6. Touch the Bluetooth device name you want to register. While connecting, “Pairing… Please wait.” is displayed. If the connection is established, “Paired.” is displayed.


How do I use the hands-free phoning features?

Once your mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth, you can use the on-screen controls for hands-free calling:

① Displays the preset dial screen.

② Switches to the phone book list.

③ Switches to the missed, received and dialled call lists.

④ Switches the mode to enter the phone number directly.

⑤ Switches to the voice recognition function (for iPhone).

⑥ Displays the Setting menu screen.

⑦ Closes the screen.

⑧ Displays the alphabet search screen.


How do I operate the radio?

You can use the following controls on the radio screen:

① Displays the source list.

② Selects a band.

③ Displays the Time and date setting screen.

④ Displays the Setting menu screen.

⑤ Recalls equaliser curves.

⑥ Stores song information to an iPod.

⑦ Displays the Phone menu screen.

⑧ Performs manual tuning or seek tuning.

⑨ Displays the preset channels.

⑩ Recalls the preset channel stored to a key from memory with a single touch of the key. You can also store the current broadcast frequency to a key for later recall by continuing to touch the key.
