What are the steps for using the water filter?

1. Open the box and take out the filter cartridge. It is common that its surface may have some carbon powder, this is normal. These particles are harmless and are washed off during the preparation process.
2. Clean the water jug and the funnel. They are dishwasher safe (max. 50’C). Hand wash the lid if it comes with a timer. If there is no timer, the lid is also dishwasher safe.
3. Soak the filter cartridge in clean water for 5 minutes. Shake the filter cartridge slightly to wash the carbon powder on the surface.
4. Press the filter down firmly to ensure a tight seal. Press the “SET” button for 3 seconds to activate the timer (applicable for models with timer).
5. Fill the pitcher with tap water. Discard your first two pitchers of filtered water.
6. Enjoy the clean filtered water.
