1. Open the cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert the batteries (AA/R6 or AA/LR6) and close the cover. Insert the negative (-) side first.

Note: When removing the batteries, perform the steps in reverse order.

If you control multiple projectors with a single remote control, use commercially available M3 stereo mini jack cables to connect to the REMOTE 1 IN/REMOTE 1 OUT terminals of the projectors.

Connect the M3 stereo mini jack cable from the remote control wired terminal to the REMOTE 1 IN terminal on the projector.

Attention: Use a cable that is 15 m (49’3″) or shorter, with 2 core shielded. The remote control may not operate when the length of the cable exceeds 15 m (49’3″) or when the shielding of the cable is inadequate.

Attention: Replace the projection lens after turning off the power of the projector.

1. Insert the projection lens by aligning the mark on the projection lens (orange) with the mark on the projector (E to the left of LOCK) and turn clockwise until it clicks.
2. Secure the projection lens with the supplied lens fixing screw. Use a Phillips screwdriver to secure it in screw hole A located to the right of the mark on the projection lens.

Note: Turn the projection lens counterclockwise to confirm that it does not come out.

1. Remove the lens fixing screw. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the first screw to the right of the mark on the projection lens.
2. Remove the projection lens by turning it counterclockwise while pressing the lens release button. Turn until the mark on the projection lens aligns with the mark on the projector (E to the left of LOCK).

Install the projector on a flat surface so that the front of the projector is parallel to the screen surface and the projection screen is rectangular. If the screen is tilted downward, the projection screen can be adjusted to be rectangular by adjusting the front adjustable feet.

Adjustable feet can be extended by turning them. Turning them in the opposite direction will return them to the original position. The adjustable range is approximately 12 mm (15/32″) each.

Attention: Be careful not to block the intake/exhaust ports with your hands or any objects when adjusting the adjustable feet while the light source is on.

1. Connect the power cord to the projector.
2. Connect the power plug to an outlet.
3. Press the ON side of the MAIN POWER switch to turn on the power. The power indicator ON (G)/STANDBY (R) will light in red, and the projector enters standby mode.
4. Press the power on button on the remote control or control panel. The power indicator ON (G)/STANDBY (R) will light in green and the image is soon projected on the screen.

Note: Always remove the lens cover before starting the projection.

1. Press the power standby button. The [POWER OFF(STANDBY)] confirmation screen is displayed.
2. Press left/right arrows to select [OK], and press the ENTER button (Or press the power standby button again). Projection will stop, and the power indicator ON (G)/STANDBY (R) lights in orange. The fan keeps running.
3. Wait for a few seconds until the power indicator ON (G)/STANDBY (R) of the projector body lights up in red (fan is stopped).
4. Press the OFF side of the MAIN POWER switch to turn off the power.

Using the remote control:

1. Press the lens buttons (FOCUS, ZOOM, SHIFT) on the remote control.
2. Select each item and press the arrow buttons to adjust it.

Using the control panel:

1. Press the LENS button on the control panel. Pressing the button changes the adjustment screen in the order of [FOCUS], [ZOOM], and [SHIFT].
2. Select each item and press the arrow buttons to adjust it.

Caution: During the lens shift operation, do not insert your hand in any opening around the lens.

If the projector is not used for a certain period of time, it is possible to turn off the image temporarily.

1. Press the SHUTTER button on the remote control or control panel. The image disappears.
2. Press the SHUTTER button again. The image is displayed.

Note: The power indicator ON (G)/STANDBY (R) will blink slowly in green while the shutter function is in use (shutter: closed).

The automatic setup function adjusts resolution, clock phase, and image position for analog RGB signals, or image position for DVI-D/HDMI signals.

1. Press the AUTO SETUP button on the remote control or control panel.
2. [COMPLETE] is displayed when it has completed without any problem.

Note: Ideally, input an image with bright white borders and high-contrast characters when performing automatic setup. Avoid images with halftones or gradation.

To correct various types of distortion:

1. Press the MENU button. Select [POSITION] -> [GEOMETRY].
2. Select [KEYSTONE], [CORNER CORRECTION], or [CURVED].
3. Press the ENTER button to enter the adjustment screen.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select the item to adjust and make the necessary corrections.

• KEYSTONE: Adjusts trapezoidal distortion.
• CORNER CORRECTION: Adjusts distortion in the four corners.
• CURVED: Adjusts curved distortion.

1. Select [ADVANCED MENU] from the main menu and select [EDGE BLENDING].
2. Switch the item to [ON] or [USER] and press ENTER.
3. Set the location to be corrected (UPPER, LOWER, LEFT, RIGHT) to [ON].
4. Select [START] or [WIDTH] and adjust the starting position or correction width.
5. Select [MARKER] and switch to [ON] to display adjustment lines. Overlap red and green lines for optimal joining.
6. Select [BRIGHTNESS ADJUST] to correct brightness levels in the overlapped areas.

1. Press the MENU button.
2. Select [PROJECTOR SETUP] -> [PROJECTION METHOD].
3. Select the appropriate method:
   • [FRONT/FLOOR]: Desk/floor, front projection.
   • [FRONT/CEILING]: Ceiling mount, front projection.
   • [REAR/FLOOR]: Desk/floor, rear projection (translucent screen).
   • [REAR/CEILING]: Ceiling mount, rear projection (translucent screen).

1. Select [P IN P] from the main menu.
2. Select [P IN P MODE] and choose [USER1], [USER2], or [USER3].
3. Select [MAIN WINDOW] or [SUB WINDOW] to configure inputs.
4. Select the input terminal for the chosen window.
5. Adjust [SIZE] (10% to 100%) and [POSITION] of the sub-window.

Note: Some signals and terminals may not support P IN P combinations. Images in combination with DIGITAL LINK and other inputs cannot be displayed in P IN P.

Removing:

1. Turn off the power.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the air filter cover screw counterclockwise and remove the cover.
3. Pull out the air filter unit from the tabs on the projector body while slightly pressing the grip on the air filter unit inward.

Cleaning:

1. Soak the air filter unit in cold or warm water and lightly rinse it. Do not use brushes.
2. Rinse the filter two to three times using fresh water.
3. Let the filter dry naturally in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Do not use dryers.

Attaching:

1. Match the protrusion position of the air filter unit with the grooves on the projector body and hook the frame to the tabs.
2. Attach the air filter cover and tighten the screw.

• Is the power plug firmly inserted into the outlet?
• Is the MAIN POWER switch set to ON?
• Is the wall outlet supplying electricity?
• Have the circuit breakers tripped?
• Are the light source indicators or temperature indicators lighting or blinking?

• Are connections to external devices correctly performed?
• Is the input selection setting correct?
• Is the [BRIGHTNESS] adjustment setting at a minimum?
• Is the shutter function in use? (Check if SHUTTER button was pressed).
• Is the lens cover still attached?
• Is the external device connected properly and working?

• Is the lens focus set correctly? Adjust using the LENS button or remote.
• Is the projection distance appropriate?
• Is the lens dirty?
• Is the projector installed perpendicular to the screen?
• Wait for approximately 30 minutes after powering on for thermal stabilization before adjusting focus.
