1. Pull out the back cover of the remote control.

2. Insert AAA or R03 batteries.

3. Close the cover.

1. Press the CLOCK button, then press the arrow buttons to set the time.

2. Press the SET button to confirm.

• You can press the CLOCK button for approximately 5 seconds to show the time in a 12-hour (am/pm) or 24-hour format.

1. Press the OFF/ON button to start or stop the operation. When the unit is ON, the “OFF” indicator will disappear from the remote control display.

2. Press the MODE button to select the desired mode. The sequence is AUTO -> HEAT -> FAN -> DRY -> COOL.

3. Press TEMP UP or TEMP DOWN to select the desired temperature. The selection range is 60 °F – 86 °F / 16.0 °C – 30.0 °C.

• To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), press and hold the down arrow in the SELECT section for approximately 10 seconds.

To adjust the Upper/Lower airflow direction, press the AIR SWING button with the vertical arrows. To adjust the Lateral direction, press the AIR SWING button with the horizontal arrows. You can set the flaps to swing automatically or set them to a fixed position.

Important: Do not adjust the flap by hand.

FAN SPEED:

Press the “FAN SPEED/QUIET” button to cycle through the fan speed settings. When FAN AUTO is selected, the fan speed is adjusted automatically according to the operation mode. Select the lowest fan speed setting for low noise operation.

QUIET:

Press the “FAN SPEED/QUIET” button until the QUIET mode is selected. This operation reduces airflow noise. For multi-split systems, Quiet mode only activates when the Quiet mode button is pressed for all indoor units that are switched on.

To reach the desired temperature quickly, press the POWERFUL button. This operation will continue until it is cancelled. To cancel, press the POWERFUL button again or turn the unit off.

To reduce power consumption for better energy savings without sacrificing comfort, press the ECO button. To cancel this operation, press the ECO button again. This operation cannot be used in FAN mode.

Press the RFP button on the remote control. When RFP is selected, the unit will operate in Heat mode with high fan speed. If the room temperature drops below the set temperature (50°F or 46°F), the compressor starts. When the temperature is reached, the compressor stops. This cycle repeats continuously.

This operation overwrites the current operation mode and can be cancelled by pressing the MODE button. When connected to a Multi Split outdoor unit, the unit will run a heating operation with a target room temperature set at 60°F. This feature is not applicable if connected with a multi-split outdoor unit.

You can set two different preset ON and OFF timers.

1. Select TIMER ON or TIMER OFF by pressing the respective button.

2. Set the desired time using the arrow buttons.

3. Confirm the setting by pressing the SET button.

To cancel the timer: Press TIMER ON or TIMER OFF to select the respective setting (e.g., ON 1 or OFF 2), then press CANCEL.

To restore a cancelled timer: If the timer was cancelled manually or due to a power failure, press TIMER ON or TIMER OFF to select the setting, then press SET.

The nearest timer setting is displayed and will activate in sequence. The timer operation follows the clock setting and will repeat daily once set.

The FIREPLACE feature helps distribute heat from an external source throughout the room by continuously blowing air from the indoor unit, even when the compressor is off. This feature is not applicable if connected with a multi-split outdoor unit.

1. Press the FIREPLACE button to activate this operation during Heat mode only.

2. The fan speed is adjusted automatically based on the difference between the set temperature and the room temperature. A bigger difference results in a higher fan speed.

3. This operation can be changed by pressing the MODE or FIREPLACE buttons to change the mode operation.

4. The operation is memorized and will resume when the unit is turned off and on again.

5. To cancel, press the button again.

AUTO: The POWER indicator blinks at the initial stage. The unit selects an operation mode depending on the setting, room, and outdoor temperature.

HEAT: The POWER indicator blinks at the initial stage. The unit will take some time to warm up.

COOL: Provides efficient comfort cooling to suit your needs.

DRY: Operates at low fan speed for a gentle cooling operation. When FAN AUTO is selected, DRY mode will operate with humidity control.

FAN: To circulate air in the room.

Multi-Split System Note: It is possible to operate indoor units individually or simultaneously, with priority given to the first unit turned on. During operation, HEAT and COOL/DRY/FAN modes cannot activate at the same time for different indoor units. The other indoor units will stop and their POWER indicators will blink.

You may save energy when operating the unit within the recommended temperature range:

HEAT: 68 °F ~ 75 °F / 20.0 °C ~ 24.0 °C.

COOL: 79 °F ~ 82 °F / 26.0 °C ~ 28.0 °C.

When power is resumed after a power failure, the operation will restart automatically with the last operation mode and airflow direction. This control is not applicable when a TIMER is set.

Room Freeze Protection (RFP) is used in unoccupied spaces during the winter to protect equipment or appliances from being destroyed by freezing temperatures.

Operation:

When RFP is selected, the unit operates in Heat mode with high fan speed for proper room temperature monitoring. When the sensor detects the room temperature dropping below the set temperature, the compressor operation begins. When the temperature is reached, the compressor stops. This cycle repeats continuously.

Disclaimer:

This function may not be performed if the unit is not energized or is in a protection mode. The RFP function cannot be used unless the unit is energized and set into RFP mode. In the event of a power failure, this mode will not function. During RFP mode, POWERFUL, QUIET, and FAN SPEED selections are all disabled. Please consult with your HVAC installer or professional for more details.

Use the air conditioner in the temperature range indicated in the table below. DBT: Dry bulb temperature, WBT: Wet bulb temperature.

Cleaning must be carried out at regular intervals for optimal performance. A dirty unit may cause a malfunction. Consult an authorized dealer if you see a “H 99” error code.

Before Cleaning:

• Switch off the power at the circuit breaker.

• Do not touch the aluminum fin; sharp parts may cause injury.

• Do not use benzine, thinner, or scouring powder.

• Use only soap (pH 7) or neutral household detergent.

• Do not use water hotter than 104 °F / 40 °C.

Indoor unit:

Wipe the unit gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid scratching the surface. The coils and fans should be cleaned periodically by an authorized dealer.

Front panel:

Wash gently and dry.

Outdoor unit:

Clean the debris that surrounds the unit and clear any blockage from the drain pipe.

Air filters (Once every 2 weeks):

1. Remove the air filters from the unit.

2. Wash/rinse the filters gently with water to avoid damaging the surface.

3. Dry the filters thoroughly in a shaded area, away from fire or direct sunlight.

4. Re-attach the air filters.

5. Replace any damaged filters.

How to remove front panel:

1. Raise up the panel.

2. Slide the front panel to the right (A) and pull it out (B).

How to close it securely:

1. Hold the panel horizontally.

2. Match the panel to the unit and push it in.

3. Close the panel down.

4. Press both ends and the center of the front panel to secure it.

You can use the button on the indoor unit itself.

1. Raise the front panel.

2. Press the AUTO OFF/ON button once to use in AUTO mode.

3. Press and hold the button until you hear 1 beep, then release to use in forced COOL mode.

4. Repeat step 3. Press and hold the button until you hear 2 beeps, then release to use in normal COOL mode.

5. Repeat step 4. Press and hold the button until you hear 3 beeps, then release to use in forced HEAT mode.

6. Press the button again to turn the unit off.

To dim or restore the brightness of the indicators on the unit, press and hold the down arrow button on the remote for 5 seconds.

• Check the batteries in the remote control.

• Check that there is no obstruction around the air inlets and outlet vents.

• Use the AUTO OFF/ON button on the unit to select COOL or HEAT mode. After 15 minutes of operation, it is normal to have the following temperature difference between the air inlet and outlet vents:

COOL: ≥ 14.4 °F / 8 °C

HEAT: ≥ 25.2 °F / 14 °C

• Activate HEAT mode for 2-3 hours to thoroughly remove any moisture left in the internal parts. This helps to prevent mold growth.

• Turn off the power supply and unplug the unit.

• Remove the batteries from the remote control.

Switch off the power at the circuit breaker and consult an authorized dealer in the following conditions:

• Abnormal noise during operation.

• Water/foreign particles have entered the remote control.

• Water leaks from the indoor unit.

• Circuit breaker switches off frequently.

• Power cord becomes unnaturally warm.

• Switches or buttons are not functioning properly.

If the unit stops and the TIMER indicator blinks, use the remote control to retrieve the error code.

1. Press and hold the down arrow in the CHECK section for 5 seconds.

2. Press the up or down arrows until you hear a beep sound, then write down the error code displayed.

3. Press and hold the down arrow in the CHECK section for 5 seconds to quit checking.

4. Turn the unit off and inform the error code to an authorized dealer.

Note: For certain errors, you may restart the unit for limited operation if there are 4 beeps when operation starts.

* Some error codes may not be applicable to your model. Consult an authorized dealer for clarification.
