Before operating the unit, follow these steps:

1. Remove all packing material and save for subsequent shipment or in case of concealed shipping damage.

2. Place the unit on a dry, level, stable, and non-flammable surface.

3. Keep the unit away from other heat sources.

4. Read all installation instructions carefully before starting.

Observe the following safety precautions:

Do not touch hot surfaces.

To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord or appliance in water or other liquids.

Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near children.

Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after it malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to off, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.

Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.

Do not use an extension cord. If one must be used, use a cord with a minimum of 1.5mm gauge and no longer than 3 meters.

To ensure product reliability and proper airflow, follow these spacing guidelines:

All units require a minimum clearance of four inches (101.6mm) between all sides of the housing and any surface or obstacle.

All drop-in or built-in units require a minimum clearance of open space below the unit of six inches (152mm). The space must have openings allowing for the flow of cool air to the cooktop housing intake vents. If either the air intake or exhaust outlet is blocked, the internal temperature will rise, causing an error code.

Avoid installing the unit near other equipment that generates excessive heat, such as griddles or fryers, as this heat can be pulled into the unit by its fan.

Avoid placing the unit near items that generate excessive steam, such as pasta cookers, steam baths, or dishwashers.

Avoid ambient temperatures exceeding 50 degrees Celsius or 122 degrees Fahrenheit.

It is recommended that a dedicated electrical line be used for each cooktop. Electrical circuits should not be shared with any other electrical equipment.

The control panel includes the following keys and indicators:

1. ON/OFF key: Powers the unit on or off.

2. Power function key: Selects the power cooking mode.

3. Temperature function key: Selects the temperature cooking mode.

4. Timer function key: Selects the timer setting mode.

5. + increase: Increases settings for timer, power, or temperature.

6. Power indicator light: Illuminates when in power mode.

7. Temperature indicator light: Illuminates when in temperature mode.

8. Timer indicator light: Illuminates when the timer is active.

9. LED display: Shows the power level, temperature, or timer value.

10. – decrease: Decreases settings for timer, power, or temperature.

The cooktop has three primary functions:

POWER Function: When selected, the POWER indicator is on. The LED displays a 3 or 4 digit number indicating the power level (1-10). The unit will continuously cook until manually shut off.

TIMER Function: When selected, the TIMER indicator is on. The LED displays a one, two, or three digit number indicating cooking time. The unit will cook until the set timer is reached, then stop heating.

TEMP Function: When selected, the TEMP indicator is on. The LED displays a two or three digit number indicating the target cooking temperature.

Step 1. Plug in the power cord (220V / 60Hz). The unit will blink once and the indicator will turn on.

Step 2. Place suitable induction rated cookware on the ceramic plate and add food contents.

Step 3. Touch the ON/OFF button. The red indicator light will illuminate. Note that the unit will automatically shut off after 1 minute if no cookware is detected.

Step 4. Touch the TIMER button to select the timer setting, or touch the TEMP/POWER button to select the desired cooking mode.

Step 5. Use the + or – buttons to set the power level, temperature, or time. In Timer mode, single touches adjust in 1-minute increments (0-90 min), and long-pressing adjusts in 5-minute increments. The LED will display the power or temperature within 8 seconds after setting the timer.

Step 6. When cooking is complete, turn the unit off by touching the ON/OFF button.

The following items are not suitable for this induction cooktop:

Cookware with a diameter less than 12cm (4.5 inches).

Copper, bronze, and aluminum cookware.

Glass cookware.

Pottery.

Ceramic cookware without a special induction coating.

Pans with feet.

Flat trays.

Placement: Keep the cooktop at least 4 inches away from walls and other articles. Do not place it near water sources, gas ranges, or coal oil stoves. Keep the unit away from credit cards, discs, watches, and radios.

During Use: Do not place sealed cans on the cooktop as they may explode. Do not place paper or cloth between the cooktop and cookware. Avoid leaving an empty pan on the unit or heating oil with no content for too long, as this will damage the cookware.

Food volume: To avoid temperature jumps, cook at least 1 quart of food or content.

Follow these instructions for care and cleaning:

Turn the unit OFF and remove the plug from the power outlet before cleaning.

Once the unit is cool, wipe the surface and body with a damp cloth.

For the stainless steel housing, use a mild scouring agent for greasy or resistant soiling. Do not use lye-based cleaners, such as oven cleaners.

For the glass surface, use a mild detergent or glass cooktop cleaning cream.

Check the intake and exhaust vents on the bottom of the unit regularly for build-up or debris. If debris is found, unplug the unit and clean the vents with a dry cloth to ensure proper airflow.

Never immerse the cooktop in water or place it in a dishwasher.
