How do you install and fasten the NORDEN NFA-T02WB waterproof box?
The internal space of the NORDEN NFA-T02WB is 140×105×46mm. Any product less than this dimension and with a sound prompt requirement can be fitted inside.
Internal Fastening: The installation hole spacing inside the waterproof box is 60mm. It is recommended to use ST4.2*12mm self-tapping screws for fastening the device inside.
External Mounting: The fastening hole spacing on the waterproof box itself is 132mm. It is recommended to use M5 expansion screws for mounting the box to a surface.
What are the specifications for incoming lines and waterproof joints for the NORDEN NFA-T02WB?
The NORDEN NFA-T02WB waterproof box is designed to meet the requirements of M20 and M36 waterproof joints.
M36 waterproof joint: This is a standard part applicable to an outer diameter (OD) of 18-25mm cable or conduit. It is recommended that the M36×1.5 waterproof joint has a thread length of 10mm.
M20 waterproof joint: This is a standard part applicable to an OD of 6-12mm cable or conduit. It is recommended that the M20 waterproof joint has a thread length of 10mm.
Is there an optional method for securing the cover of the NORDEN NFA-T02WB?
Yes. While the upper cover and bottom case can be structurally clamped, there is an optional step for added security. During use, an ST2.9*8mm self-tapping screw can be used to lock the bottom case. This is recommended to avoid unnecessary starting or human-induced protection failure that might occur if the upper and lower covers are not tightly fastened. The screw fastening hole is provided for this optional reinforcement.
