How should I wire the NEXAR C3 in my car?
The NEXAR C3 is powered by the car charger. For the best installation, please follow the path indicated by the red dotted line in the user manual’s diagram. It is important to note that an undercurrent could lead to a malfunction.
How do I turn the NEXAR C3 on or off?
The NEXAR C3 will automatically switch on and off with the start-up and stop of your vehicle. To turn the device off manually, you can press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds.
Please note that for car lighters that provide sustainable power, you will need to switch the device on and off by hand.
How does the Parking Monitor feature on the NEXAR C3 work?
The NEXAR C3 is equipped with a 200mAh battery for the Parking Monitor feature. When your car is parked and the device detects an abnormal vibration, it will automatically wake up, record a monitoring video, and then shut down. You can use a proper charger to prolong the monitoring period.
Attention: When charging with the car charger, do not turn on the device when the vehicle is cut-off in order to save battery power.
What do the different states of the Working Indicator Light on the NEXAR C3 mean?
The Working Indicator Light on your NEXAR C3 indicates its current status:
• Green light slowly flashing (1 per second): The front camera is recording.
• Green light quickly flashing (2 per second): The front and rear cameras are recording.
• Green light on (solid): TF card is disconnected or recording has stopped.
• Red light flashing: The firmware is updating.
• Red light on (solid): There is a TF card malfunction, failure to record, etc.
What does the WiFi Indicator Light on the NEXAR C3 mean?
A solid blue light on the WiFi Indicator Light indicates that the NEXAR C3 is connected to the App.
What are the important safety and maintenance precautions for the NEXAR C3?
Please follow these precautions when using your NEXAR C3:
• The storage temperature should be between -20°C to 70°C.
• Improper change of the battery could lead to an explosion. Please use the same type of battery on the device.
• Do not use irritating chemical solvents for cleaning. A slightly wet paper tissue or soft cloth is suggested.
• For environmental protection, please do not throw the device away or into a fire in case of explosion.
• Do not try to detach the machine or repair it by yourself. If the device fails, please call customer service.
• To maintain compliance with FCC’s RF Exposure guidelines, this equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body. Use only the supplied antenna.
What should I do if my NEXAR C3 causes harmful interference to radio or television reception?
If your NEXAR C3 causes harmful interference, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, you are encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
What are the FCC and IC compliance conditions for operating the NEXAR C3?
Operation of the NEXAR C3 is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference.
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Additionally, for IC compliance, the Operating Frequency Range band 5150-5250 MHz is for “indoor use only.”
