For your NEMCO SS6L-2DI, all components must be cleaned before first use. According to food and safety regulations, most foods must be stored and/or served at certain temperatures to prevent them from becoming hazardous. It is important to check with local food and safety regulators for specific guidelines. Be aware of the product you are serving and the temperature it is required to maintain.

IMPORTANT: Clean, rinse, sanitize, and dry all parts at a minimum of every 24 hours. Always comply with local sanitization requirements.

To clean your NEMCO SS6L-2DI, first disassemble all six (6) pump parts. Clean the parts with soap and hot water, then rinse, sanitize, and dry them according to your local sanitization requirements. Use the supplied brush to scrub the inside of the parts. All components are dishwasher safe.

1. Mount the nozzle:

Bend the outer portion of the nozzle inside out. Insert it into the opening on the end of the pump housing, ensuring the tab of the nozzle faces towards the housing. Flip the outer portion of the nozzle back over the end of the tube to secure it.

2. Insert dome:

Insert the dome into the pump housing. Ensure the flaps slide into place. Press the entire dome firmly, including the top portion.

3. Insert the dome clip:

Place the dome clip over the dome and pump housing. Ensure that the tab on the bottom of the dome slides into the opening in the dome clip.

4. Attach hose to pump housing:

Fit the holes in the hose over the pegs on the pump housing.

5. Attach connector to hose:

Fit the bottom holes on the hose over the pegs on the connector. The piercing end of the connector must face away from the pump housing.

1. Connect pump to pouch:

Put a new pouch on a countertop with the fitment facing up. Place the piercing end of the connector in the center of the fitment. Push firmly until the pump snaps into place.

2. Insert pouch and pump:

Insert the connected pouch and pump into the dispenser shroud. Hold the end of the pouch up while guiding the pump into the slots inside the front of the dispenser.

3. Insert the lid:

Hold the lever up while inserting the lid tabs into the slots in the back of the dispenser shroud.

4. Prime the pump:

Press the lever several times until the food product is visible in the discharge tube.

Step 1. Remove locking washer: Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the locking washer from the pin at the end of the link arms. Keep the locking washer for reassembly.

Step 2. Remove pin: Slide the pin out from the pair of link arms and portion holes.

Step 3. Select portion setting: The available portion settings are 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 2 mL. The “Not applicable on this dispenser” setting should be ignored.

Step 4. Align holes on link arms: Align the holes on the link arms with the hole for your desired portion setting. Slide the pin through all aligned holes and secure it with the locking washer you removed in step 1.

First, hook the first tab of the corner guard into the slot. Then, push firmly on the second tab to snap it into place.

Prevent leaks: Ensure that the dome is pushed fully into the pump housing. Ensure that you hear a CLICK when attaching the pump to the pouch.

Pro Tip: Clean water may be used as lubrication when fitting the hose onto the pegs.

Optimize pouch evacuation: Ensure the ramp is in place inside the dispenser shroud.
