• When you remove the Micro SD card, please make sure the device is completely powered off.

• The Micro SD card is a consumable accessory. MOVON does not guarantee a certain period of lifespan for the Micro SD card. It is recommended to check the status of the Micro SD card on a regular basis. If the card is not working properly, please contact the seller and purchase a new one.

What are the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features of the MOVON MVT-9?

The MOVON MVT-9 includes several ADAS features to help prevent drowsy or reckless driving:

Lane Departure Warning (LDW): Warns when the driver changes lanes over a solid lane at speeds above 40km/h.

LDW Freq LC (FLC): Warns when changing lanes frequently (regardless of lane type) over a set number of lane changes per second.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW): Warns in situations where there is a risk of collision with the vehicle in front. Operates above 30km/h.

Forward Collision Warning 2 (FCW2): When changing lanes, it warns if there is a risk of collision with the vehicle in front.

Forward Proximity Warning (FPW): Alerts the driver when a vehicle is within a set range. Operates between 0 to 30km/h.

Pedestrian Collision Warning (PCW): Alerts the driver when a pedestrian is nearby and approaching the vehicle. Operates between 0 to 50km/h.

Front Vehicle Start Alarm (FVSA): While stopped, it detects the movement of the vehicle in front and provides a warning if that vehicle stops for more than 2 seconds after moving.

What are the performance limitations of the MOVON MVT-9?

Please be aware of the following performance limitations of the MOVON MVT-9:

• The MVT-9 doesn’t guarantee 100% accuracy in detecting driver status or providing warnings for all potential accident causes.

• The MVT-9 doesn’t give alerts until it recognizes the driver’s face. If the driver closes their eyes or opens them only slightly on purpose during face detection, it may trigger false alerts. Depending on facial characteristics, the device may not detect/recognize the driver properly.

• Direct sunlight on the camera lens or the driver’s face can adversely affect recognition performance. If the vision sensor is partially or fully blocked, its detection ability may be limited or it may not work properly.

• Glasses or sunglasses could reflect sunlight or surroundings, which can prevent the MVT-9 from detecting eyes and will lower its performance accuracy.

• Any object that covers the driver’s face, such as an eyepatch, hat, cap, mask, or muffler, could affect performance.

• Dirt, a scratch, or a fingerprint on the camera can affect recognition performance. Do not touch this part with bare hands or anything sharp. If there is dirt or a fingerprint, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth.

• The MVT-9 is designed to operate on paved roads with clearly marked lanes. It cannot recognize the road better than the driver. It is the driver’s responsibility to be alert and aware at all times.

• The MVT-9 detects visible vehicles ahead. Crossing, oncoming, and passing vehicles cannot be detected. It doesn’t guarantee 100% accuracy in detecting vehicles or driving lanes.

• Inclement weather conditions can adversely affect recognition performance.
