The MIDEA MDRS791MIE is intended to be used at ambient temperatures specified by its climate class, which can be found on the rating plate. The product may not operate properly outside of the specific range.

To ensure proper performance and avoid increased electricity costs, allow over 100 mm of clearance from each adjacent wall when installing the MIDEA MDRS791MIE. This includes the space above, behind, and on both sides of the appliance for adequate air circulation.

All dimensions are in mm.

To avoid vibration, the unit must be leveled. If required, adjust the leveling screws to compensate for an uneven floor. The front should be slightly higher than the rear to aid in door closing.

You can turn the leveling screws by tipping the cabinet slightly.

• To raise the unit, turn the leveling screws counterclockwise.

• To lower the unit, turn the leveling screws clockwise.

If the doors are not at the same height, they can be adjusted with a spanner.

A- To raise the door, turn the adjusting nut (1) anticlockwise.

B- To lower the door, turn the adjusting nut (1) clockwise.

C- When the door is correctly aligned, fix it with the locking nut (2).

1. Remove all food from inside the appliance.

2. Pull the power plug out, then insert and fix it into the power plug hook at the rear or on top of the appliance.

3. Tape parts such as shelves and the door handle to prevent them from falling off while moving.

4. Move the appliance carefully with more than two people. When transporting over a long distance, keep the appliance upright.

5. After installing the appliance, connect the power plug into a socket to switch it on.

Any replacement or maintenance of the LED lamps is intended to be made by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similar qualified person.

After installing the appliance and connecting the power supply cord to the outlet, wait 2 or 3 hours before putting food into the appliance. If you add food before the appliance has cooled completely, your food may spoil.

• Do not place the appliance near cookers, radiators or other heat sources. High ambient temperatures cause the compressor to run more frequently and for longer.

• Ensure there is sufficient ventilation at the base, sides, and back of the appliance. Never cover ventilation openings.

• Observe the spacing dimensions in the “Installation” chapter.

• The arrangement of drawers, shelves, and racks as shown in the illustration offers the most efficient use of energy and should be retained.

• To obtain larger storage space, middle drawers can be removed. The top and bottom drawers and shelves should be removed last if necessary.

• An evenly filled refrigerator/freezer contributes to optimal energy use. Avoid empty or half-empty compartments.

• Allow warm food to cool before placing it in the refrigerator/freezer.

• Allow frozen food to defrost in the refrigerator. The coldness reduces energy consumption in the refrigerator compartment.

• Open the door only as briefly as necessary.

• Setting the temperature no colder than necessary contributes to optimal energy use. The optimum temperature in the refrigerator is +7°C.

• Ensure the door seals are intact so that the doors close properly.

All functions must be operated in the unlocking status.

• **To lock:** In the unlocked state, press and hold the “Lock” button for 3 seconds. The lock icon will appear, and the panel will be locked.

• **To unlock:** In the locked state, press and hold the “Lock” button for 3 seconds. The lock icon will disappear, and the panel will be unlocked.

Click the “Mode” button until the “Vacation” icon lights up. The vacation mode will start after locking the control panel. In vacation mode, the refrigerating compartment is turned off (display shows “–“) and the freezer compartment temperature is set at -18°C.

Click the “Mode” button until the “Super Cool” icon lights up. The Super Cooling mode will start after locking the control panel. Super cooling mode exits automatically after 6 hours or after 30 minutes of reaching the super cooling shutdown point.

Click the “Mode” button until the “Super Frz.” icon lights up. The Super freezing mode will start after locking the control panel. Super freeze mode exits automatically after 26 hours.

The recommended setting is 5°C for the refrigerated chamber and -18°C for the freezing chamber. The optimal temperature setting of each compartment depends on the ambient temperature. The above optimal temperature is based on an ambient temperature of 25°C.

Whether in the locked or unlocked state, press and hold the “Mode” button for 3 seconds. This will force the refrigerator’s wireless module into AP mode, and the temperature display area will show “AP”. After successful configuration, it will automatically exit AP mode. If the module is not configured successfully within 10 seconds, it will also forcibly exit AP mode and restore the normal temperature display.

In case of a power failure, the instant working state will be locked and maintained until re-electrification.

When you open the refrigerator doors, opening music will play. If a door is not closed within two minutes, a buzzer will sound once every minute until the door is closed. You can press any button to stop the buzzer alarm.

• **To disable or enable the door opening tone:** Press and hold the combination of the temperature down and temperature up keys for 3 seconds. The tone is enabled by default.

• **Disable the door opening alarm sound:** This is not possible.

The following warnings on the display indicate corresponding faults. Although the refrigerator may still have cold storage function with these faults, you should contact a maintenance specialist.

• The freezer is for storing food at very low temperature, long-term storage of frozen food, and making ice.

• Only use the door shelves for storing frozen food, not for freezing hot food.

• Do not put fresh and frozen food next to each other, as the frozen food may thaw.

• When freezing fresh food like meat or fish, cut it into parts that can be used at one time.

• Follow storage instructions on packaging. If none, food should not be stored for longer than three months.

• Ensure frozen food packaging is not damaged when purchasing.

• Keep frozen food in suitable packages and return to the freezer as soon as possible after shopping.

• A package showing moisture or abnormal bulging may have been stored at the wrong temperature and is spoiled.

• Storage time depends on room temperature, thermostat setting, door opening frequency, and food type. Always follow instructions on the package.

• To reduce moisture and ice build-up, never put liquids in unsealed containers.

• Never put warm foods in the refrigerator. Allow them to cool at room temperature first.

• Food or containers should not touch the back wall to prevent freezing.

• Do not keep the door open regularly.

• Meat and clean fish (in a package or plastic foil) can be stored for 1-2 days.

• Fruit and vegetables can be placed in the designated fresh part without packaging.

The MIDEA MDRS791MIE refrigerator is made based on the air-cooling principle and has an automatic defrosting function. Frost formed due to a change of season or temperature may also be manually removed by disconnecting the appliance from the power supply or by wiping with a dry towel.

• According to the direction arrow in the figure, use both hands to squeeze the tray and push it upward to take it out.

• After washing the tray, you can adjust its installing height according to your requirement.

The innermost part of the refrigerator liner where the shelves make contact has a backstop. To remove a shelf, raise it upward, and then you can take it out. You can then adjust or clean the shelves as needed.

Yes, this is normal. The built-in condenser dissipates heat via the housing. The housing may become hot due to high ambient temperature, storage of too much food, or if the compressor shuts down. If this occurs, provide sound ventilation to facilitate heat dissipation.

Condensation on the exterior surface and door seals of the refrigerator is normal when the ambient humidity is too high. Simply wipe the condensate with a clean towel.
